TL;DR Overall meh, pizza wasn't good. Sandwich was. Unmasked staff.
At first I really was liking this place and I had heard good things so, my better half and I decided to give it a shot. The staff was very friendly and mostly attentive. The atmosphere was nice, the dining room was separated from the bare area so it was relatively quite. We started with an order of Bavarian Pretzels which were decent. They were cooked well, and seasoned nicely, but the cheese sauce was somewhat bland. For our dinners we ordered the Chicken French Panini and a build your own brick oven pizza.
Based on looking at pictures online I had high hopes for the pizza, but was sorely let down. When I order a brick oven pizza I expected it to have a dough similar to what they have pictured on their website. However, what I received was not like that at all. The crust of my pizza was clearly a frozen premade circle. It looked and tasted like a giant version of those little circles you get with a pizza lunchable. It even had those little holes through it exactly like them. The topping weren't bad, but it really was ruined by this crust.
The sandwich on the other hand was quite good. I only had a bite, but the bite I did have made me wish I had gotten anything else. The bread was toasted nicely and chicken was cooked properly and the dipping sauce had good flavor.
Overall I don't plan on going back anytime soon. That pizza really ruined it for me. They also lose a few points for having multiple staff members un masked. Not the end of the world in my book, but makes me think twice about where I...

Read moreMy wife and I have been here many times and had good experiences. That changed Saturday 12/16. I ordered a salad with shrimp and a diet coke. After consuming ~ ½ the salad and all of the shrimp I saw a hair stuck to the inside of the bowl. It was short and curly. Looking closer I saw it, unfortunately, had a friend right next to it. Who knows how many hairs I'd already consumed. I told the waitress and that I did not want a replacement. When the check arrived, it had a charge for the shrimp and the coke. Let me clarify, the shrimp was in the salad. Maybe they thought I was lucky they didn't charge me for the half of the salad I had consumed. I asked to talk to the manager and waited patiently in the hall away from other customers. These things happen, no need to make a scene. The important thing is how they handle it. The manager explained I had eaten all the shrimp, therefore I was charged. Between her and I, I knew one of us was the customer but it sure didn't feel like me. I told her if I owned the place there would be a large sincere apology, no charge and a gift certificate for my next visit. She was annoyed and came back with a check for the diet coke. I laughed and said something like, really? She begrudgingly agreed to no charge and annoyingly asked if I was satisfied now. I mumbled yeah and walked away. My bad. I wasn't really satisfied. I was tired of wasting my time.
As customers, we get the last say. We decide where we spend our money. Now I'll be going to Mama...
