PLEASE READ!!!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR DEVICES HERE!! This place is a joke and it’s a shame because the chain itself is a great one but this particular store is horrible. I cracked my screen on my iPhone where the screen was blacked but still lighting slightly, the phone was still ringing alerts and alarms. I brought my phone here for a simple screen repair, AFTER 4 HOURS of them having my device (they said it would be an hour and a half) I decided to call, the gentleman Cleve Pierce greeted us at the counter upon arrival of dropping off phone, answered my call telling me that the screen was not working still and he may need to order another screen to make sure that one is not faulty. I let Cleve know that I unfortunately couldn’t wait because this is a work phone and I was hoping to have it by Monday. He said no problem so we picked up the phone. When we got there Cleve then told my fiancé that the battery may be faulty (first said it was the screen) then he said he didn’t have a SINGLE BATTERY OR EXRTA SCREEN TO SEE IF THAT WAS THE CASE. He said he wouldn’t have any batteries or screens until Tuesday. We decided to take it to iFix Gaget repair in the Springfield mall (where they do all repairs on the spot RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU) when this gentleman took the screen off (UbreakIfix left their “new” uncracked screen on the phone when we picked it up) he connected a new battery and a new screen and the motherboard STARTED SMOKING. Mind you we watched this man the entire time and all he used were plastic tools. This gentleman notified us that the motherboard had been touched by something metal because that’s what happens. I called UbreakIfix back and spoke with Cleve again, (mind you this phone was functioning upon drop off to Cleve and only needed screen replaced) I explained to Cleve the situation, he immediately offered to write a check for the phone (because he tried to cover up the fact that he messed up) I notified Cleve that I would be writing him a review and I would like to speak with the store manager. Cleve then told us he WAS THE OWNER. I spoke with the cooperate office for UbreakIfix and they notified me that Cleve Pierce IS NOT the owner of this location. Read more12/2013 Update: Screen flickering been going on for a few months...between the multiple attempts to get this fixed and the limited durability of the parts they use, I'm not happy.
wanted to write a review of Ubreakifix becuase, to be honest, I wasn't sure about taking my ipod touch 4g to them to repair the screen. there are some shady reviews online (staged) and a couple of reviews mentioning horrible service at various locations. If you read nothing else then understand the following: They did an awesome job at nearly a 45% discount to what it would have cost at an Apple store. At 95$ the cost is significantly less than the Apple Store (249$) and with a 90 day warranty comes with less risk than doing it on your own (15-60$). The only other option out there is to mail to another, similar service, which after shipping comes out to nearly the same as Ubreakifix.Bottom line, at 95$ with a 90 day warranty and a 30 minute repair time Ubreakifix was a great deal. I didn't have to mail my device off to another state and wait for a week or more wondering if it even got to its destination and I got my fixed ipod back yesterday with a brand new screen. No dead pixels, no additional scratch marks on the outer case, no issues so far. I can't speak to the other locations or other services, but I'd recommend the King of Prussia store to anyone who has cracked glass on an ipod 4th gen.
4/24/2013 EDIT- Just found a dead pixel on the screen that was replaced 1 week ago. Heading to this store today to make sure that the faulty screen is covered under their 90 day warranty.
4/24/2013 EDIT- Dropped it off, honored warranty, fixed. Got home and part of the touch screen is dead ( I cannot use the backspace or letter "p"). Going back tomorrow to see if that is honored by the warranty. Its actually worse than I thought. The entire outer right side fo the screen is dead and produces a clicking sound when pushed.

I use my iPhone for most of my work functionality. Unfortunately I began to experience failure of the charge port. I went to see Tyler in the Gateway Shopping Center. From the very beginning, he was professional, informative, and clearly cared about making sure I could execute some essential deliverables. Keep in mind that this was a Saturday afternoon.
Tyler performed a proper diagnostic. We discussed options for cleaning to see if the port would respond and replacement should it not. Turned out that after cleaning, we did indeed have a part failure. Due to age, the part needed to be ordered (they have super-speedy shipping). In the meantime, I purchased a wireless charger from Staples a few stores away. It was a completely inadequate charger and didn’t work at all.
I went back to Tyler. He put my phone on his wireless charger and it worked. He charged my phone after putting in a new battery (at a great price). Then he called a sister store in Exton and found that they had the part I needed. He set me up for an immediate replacement appointment with Exton. HE EVEN GAVE ME HIS WIRELESS CHARGER TO KEEP!
Off I went to Exton. They took care of me immediately and in short, I now have a perfectly running iPhone with a brand new battery and charge port all in just a couple hours, done on the same day as my first contact to ask if the company could help me, even though my phone made it difficult. AND IT WAS ALL DONE FOR A PRICE BETTER THAN I HOPED FOR when I first called in with my problem.
I could not ask for more. Tyler went way above and beyond because he cared. We don’t see that every day, that’s for sure.
