I gave 1 star because I really enjoyed the greenery outside of the hot tub area. Here are the concerns: The changing rooms are very small There is no drinking water by the hot tub. It’s 104 degrees, and we had 90 minutes out there (HOWEVER there was a large, black, fillable water jug that would be used for people in the hot tub, so after we went and asked about it, a staff person came out and grabbed it - she did not look at ANY of us as we all said “thank you!” MULTIPLE times. That horrible attitude was made clear about 30 min later when we realized she was not returning.) Outside of the hot tub there are 0 chairs The shower is scary dirty. There was also a shower chair (yay for inclusivity) that had not been cleaned maybe EVER In a TINY lobby there was a fireplace with a fire that had been put out recently, and the smell of the smoke was so bad it was nauseating The people working the counter were not friendly at ALL Ex 1- I use a walker. I have never been here before. I asked the best way to get back to the water, and I very kindly said I was happy to go back outside and use the ramp, but I wanted to make sure I was following directions in case there was another way…. The lady was obviously annoyed that I had asked her a question, and she said, “or you could use the stairs” and she pointed to invisible stairs that were “that way” ( they were in the hallway through a large door) did I mention that I use this walker because I am a healing cancer patient and I am seeking positive environments? Yeah. we soaked and came back in a little early to not hold up others, BUT NO, the tiny dressing room now had a line. This is the most uncomfortable thing when you’ve just relaxed, want to use the restroom, get dressed, and keep the calmness. Did I mention I left my robe outside and our LOCKER keys were in the pocket? We opened the window and tried ro get the attention of our family, and failed. Ugh. So we asked VERY nicely if the front desk folks had any spare keys. She said “ oh maybe, I guess, if I can find any”. REALLY omg. I was over her terrible charm.
Not going back here ever again. $45 for 90 Min is post-covid raping for this incredibly under serving...
Read moreDid a spa day a couple days ago everyone was super nice but.. for the price of the massage the skill just wasn’t there.. my therapist got me in 10 min late for my 1hr (due to not making sure the start time of my massage) I went to front desk and they had to get her Not a huge deal.. but the lmt ended my massage on the original time not giving me a full hour. I have a lot of pain in my shoulders (she worked on my shoulders) I wanted massage on arms and neck too and I said I just wanted to get that worked on but she continued to work on my glutes and went WAY to deep miss hearing me when I was saying do not go deeper.. with all the time spent on my glutes she should’ve been able to take that time to massage my neck and arms which she didn’t. There was hardly any communication coming up to the end of the massage. Not much technique as well. Not to mention they NO DOT do health intake forms. Yes I know it’s a spa setting but my mom came along and got a massage too she now has a rash from the oils they use! It would be nice if they had something to write down our health concerns
Soaking pool was super neat my favorite part of the day!!! Super cool torches above the pool the heat was perfect very nice for the colder days!!
I got a pedicure and the ladies were super nice. Definitely will be doing that service again in the...
Read moreThe girls that work here are nice, but I definitely wouldn’t go back. The room for pedicures and manicures is very dim, making it hard to see the polish choice colors. Where you sit and put your feet in the basin is incredibly uncomfortable. It’s just a bench up against the wall with no way to recline or move farther back. If you are tall like me, expect to be very uncomfortable.
For some reason, they were very insistent that we do our feet first, leaving us with wet fingernails at the end. By the time I checked out and got home, I had already ruined four of them. One of them was already ruined before I left the room. I asked her about fixing it and she said “if I tried it would end up a goopy mess.“ Why in the world would you not do the nails first so they had a chance to dry? Feet should always come second.
They use a lot of smelly oils and scrubs, but so does everywhere else. Their massaging skills were not great compared to everywhere I have been before. This experience was definitely not worth paying double where you would at a...
