Distillery Bar — Restaurant in Troutdale

Okay so this place is a part of McMennamins in Troutdale! An amazing destination resort that we absolutely love visiting! We went for a long weekend for our anniversary and it was excellent! People are soooooo wonderful, place is comfortable and just has a fun atmosphere no matter where you go! Good food in all restaurants, great selection of beer (Love Ruby's Ale).. and wine (black rabbit).. great golf course (small but fun!).. the Distillary Bar was great fun, and the bartender was really personable.. An awesome place visit for drinks, golf on the par 3 course or to tour the distillery. A lot of McMenamins spirits are distilled here right on the property at Edgefield, including How's Head Whiskey. They also make their run 3 here. You can tour the property at 2:00 PM most days and see the stills that are used first hand. Just walk up the hill from the power station towards the golf course and you're right there! Very friendly people working in the distillery who are more than happy to answer many of your questions. Efficient and personable bartenders but the drinks, including the soda, are watered down. Too watered down for the money. Stick to beer and wine if you must drink here. I love the Edgefield property for its beauty but its food and drink offerings leave something to be desired.

I love Bumpers Bar and Grill down the street on Halsey or Troutini up the street on Main Street in Troutdale. They're good options with similar pricing but much better food, stronger drinks, and...
