Regal Trussville — Attraction in Trussville

Regal Cinemas Trussville 16 needs to be shut down immediately I’m so disappointed and disgusted I went to see Hereditary last night 06/18/18 the 10:05 showing throughout the movie my boyfriend kept saying it felt like something was biting him but he didn’t see anything initially I thought he was tripping at the end of the movie I stood up to exit and my right butt cheek began to itch I had on a dress so I felt where it was itching and felt several small bites in a row like Bed Bugs bite We walked in the hallway and I told my boyfriend to look and he as well saw the bites and said those definitely came from a bed bug. I went to the management desk and informed the manager of what had happened he went and got another female manager and asked me to take them and show them where we sat. When we arrived back at the seats he looked around a bit with the flashlight and said he didn’t see anything and that pest control sprays regularly so he doubts they could be hiding in the seats i then asked him to explain the mysterious bites that appeared on me when being in the theatre he couldn’t. I showed the female manager the bites and she as well agreed that they had come from a bedbug she said that she had and elderly family member that had them so she was familiar with what the bites looked like. She told me to come with her and took my info as we talked and I explained why I knew I got the bites while there she stated I believe you it’s not the first time I’ve heard it. She then asked me if I would be seeking medical treatment I told her I would let a doctor look at the bites and she gave me some free movie tickets. Of all things free movie tickets like why on earth would I want to return to a movie theater infested with bed bugs. I would have atleast appreciated my money back. And the fact that they where aware that this had happened before and no one made sure they corrected the problem is disgusting and sad let’s me know Regal Cinemas doesn’t care about there patrons only the money they can get out of us.. Stay away from the Trussville theater 🗣 THEY GOT BED BUGS ON...

Went to see Jurassic World: Dominion and yes last month saw Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. My kiddos enjoy this type of entertainment. Why? The good ole days of the movie theater. Call me authentic but nothing, not even live stream movies from home can compare to going to the movie cinema’s 🍿 🎥. For instance, the aroma of buttery popcorn and nectar candy lingering in the air. Reminds you of those family outings and first dates. I love this movie theater. Just miss when tickets were $3, $5, or $7.

Not trying to offend my community but what customers spend in todays world, all theaters need to sell some type of 🍷🍻beverage to ease the mind of paying for overly price services and goods. Regal the company has a right and limit to refuse this service to those seeming questionable. Regal step your game up that’s the reason I gave a four rating. Below are pros, cons, and pictures.

Ad premiers run 15-20 minutes long (food for the movie can get cold just waiting) 😕

Just passing along a really great BIRTHDAY PARTY experience we had this past weekend.

I booked my son’s 8th Birthday at the Regal Cinemas in Trussville, by Walmart. It was perfect! They had the party room setup, offered 2 food options for the party, gave my son a few movie swag goodies, and even put his name on the marquis above our theater. Incredibly, we also had the theater to ourselves to watch Kung Fu Panda 4.

But, the BEST part was the young man pictured below, the taller one. 😉 His name is Sonny. He is a junior in high school, a straight A student, an athlete, and he works at Regal. He was the person who took care of our party.

Sonny took the time to setup everything perfectly for us. He checked on us very often, took care of every need, and even anticipated needs we would have. He cared, and it mattered to him personally that he did a good job and did everything to make the party a great experience! He was delightful, and I am so glad we went to Regal. The whole experience was awesome, and Sonny was the reason!!!

If you need a place to hold a birthday, give Regal a call, and be sure to ask for Sonny!!! He is the best of the best!
