Nails First — Attraction in Tucson

Super great experience from the moment I walked in!!! They were all friendly and welcoming. I originally called to ask if they were doing by appt only due to covid and they explained that they would be able to take me at that moment instead of having to make an appt on a different day, for me that is huge! As a mom I don’t have time to set an appointment and hopefully stick to it, it’s a lot easier to call ahead in my free time. My pedicure was done perfectly and the lady who did my toes really took her time with the massage and listened to what I wanted, which not all salons will do sometimes they will do what they think is best. As for my nails they looked exactly how I wanted them!! Henry was amazing and it’s nice to see younger male nail techs that do great work. The whole time they asked how I was doing and if I liked my nails and explained how they are in the process of remodeling as well as under new management, it really made me want to go back and I could also tell they care about their customers experience. After going to the same nail salon for eight years and not only seeing the quality of their work decline, but not having great customer service at all and being rude to faithful clients I am pleased to say I won’t be returning and will be returning to nails first from now on for my nail needs. I constantly saw the techs disinfecting not only their work areas but also where the guests are sitting and every surface. I chose them because the old salon had great work as well and honestly it seems like they’ve gotten even better with their new changes. Excited to see this salon grow and thrive 🥰 thank you...

FIRST TIME COMING HERE & NEVER AGAIN. I went in with a friend and my daughter. We got pedicures and manicures & my daughter just got her nails polished along with her toes. We get there and I sat on a pedicure chair and waited at least 20 minutes for someone to help me with no WATER in my seat. The guy who helped my friend named Thanh was RUDE TO THE CORE! We asked about prices for gel & my friend changed her mind and wanted to do regular color but then she changed her mind after he said there would b a 5$ charge for the gel removal of her previous pedicure so she decided to go with Gel after all and he was just plain rude, rolled his eyes, and threw cotton balls. Then continued to talk smack with his other coworkers. The same guy who did her pedicure ended up doing my manicure and he did a HORIBLE job. At the end he asked “do you want lotion on your hand” like ugh hello, you’re charging me 36$ for a manicure and you’re not gonna massage my hands? So all he did was put lotion on my arms & rub it. I will not be returning!!!!! And they charged me 22$ to polish my 4 year old daughters hands and toes…. Just POLISH, they didn’t even cut , file or anything just polish. I will b sticking to my normal nail place! I paid 108$ for a service that was...

The person who did my pedicure did great, but when it came to my gel nails, no! There are far better places that cost the same that are cleaner and better. I got a manicure with gel French tips and the fill of the white on the ends is poor at best. When he originally consulted me he asked if it was good, I said yes, because generally this is asked about the thickness of the white tip and once the additional white layers are applied, MOST (clearly not all) technicians make sure any thin areas are fully covered as they continue. Anyways, long story short, he blamed it on me and though I was polite, I was clearly upset and not even offered a discount or a coupon for a future discount. If they planned on keeping me as a customer, they didn't try very hard. Additionally, the towel he wiped my hands with smelled terrible! I'm sure it is not the worst place in tucson, but as i said, for your money there are much better places. To the the man who did my pedicure, thank you, you were very nice and did a great job.
