Dani was amazing! I was so nervous coming in due to a bad experience at another salon. She sat with me and we chatted one on one, and she truly made me feel like I was being heard with what I wanted. I didn’t get that at the last place. She talked me through everything she was going to do with my hair, we got to know each other, and she made me feel so comfortable and safe to trust her with the process of transforming my hair into a different color. The process was actually pretty quick. I think it took about an hour maybe a little bit more and when we got done, she did a blowout in my hair. She asked me which way I’d like to part it, and I like that she asked that because I have a bad cows lick so I have to part it a different way and she did it exactly how I wanted it. I got my hair done last week, and to this day I am still receiving compliments. The hair appointment itself was it no more than $185. I spent a little more because I really liked the shampoo and conditioner she used in my hair. I have been using it every shower and it’s made my curls as I have a natural curl be more rich and lively. Overall, the experience was amazing. The front desk people were amazing the live chat, where I talked to the owner for some questions was amazing. These ladies are all super helpful and the environment was so welcoming and cozy. I will be back again as I have already placed another appointment...

So, I'm open to revising my opinion, but my experience up to this point has not been great.

I booked an appointment with Dani for a color touch up, which I now regret. My roots had grown quite dark, and I was wanting a better blend than I had going, so I asked for a more uniform color without losing depth. The result was blotchy and uneven with visible horizontal lines from messy lightener application.

I called and set up a color correction, and they were very amenable with it. Dani was nice about accommodating for me, and she was apologetic for the mistake. I asked to not have a strong color difference and for the stripes to please go away, and she darkened the roots...back to what it looked like before I got it colored in the first place.

I spent almost $300. After the second attempt, I spoke with Dani again, who suggested stripping the color she just added and retoning it all for what she said would be minimal damage and more even color. After that, she stopped following up with me.

I did intend to follow up with the salon again, but after she stopped responding, I didn't really want to bother anymore (I was very disheartened). I went to a different salon to get a color correction done about a week and a half after Dani's correction, and was told the color was blotchy and uneven throughout the back of my hair just like the top and sides.

I've been going to Style 7 since the salon opened. The staff is amazing and always conduct themselves professionally. I go to Roy, but have also had the pleasure of having a few other stylists do my hair over the years. Each of them has done wonderful work. Style 7's awesome work doesn't stop at hair- their facials are fabulous and reasonably priced as well!

I feel it is important to mention that it is no secret how the employees of Style 7 are always working to enhance and keep their skills sharp with the current trends. I can't count the number of times I have gone in and either heard the details of the last professional development session they attended, or about something they have coming up. Nobody there is stuck in a rut, therefore you're going to leave the salon looking and feeling your absolute best!
