Tulsa Little Theatre — Attraction in Tulsa

My girl friend took me to a Smokus Pokus comedy show! Very cool theater, nice size, clean, and had a concession available. I liked the Art Deco style!! I really enjoyed my visit. The ONLY draw back was that it was colder than a yettis nipple out(21°) and there was only ONE very meticulous (read between the lines) ticket taker. He made me and the 30 or so other people waiting to get in late to see the show. Either pull someone else in to count tickets or tell the Act to wait until the ticket counter has cleared the line, felt like a butt head coming in...

I still have a TLT program from the late 1960's Odd Couple. (It premiered on Broadway in 1965). I am listed in the program as the chief curtain puller (and in charge of shaking up Oscar's stale beer so that it would spray to the ceiling!) I also caught the stale spaghetti that uptight Felix Ungar would throw at laid-back Oscar. Later, Tulsa's own Tony Randall played Felix Ungar on ABC's version of The Odd Couple. Cute little theatre with some cute family shows. However there is absolutely no parking for the theatre which forces you to park on the neighborhood streets nearby and walk. Seems dangerous with little kids after dark when the later shows get out. There’s also no sidewalk on the side the theater is on so you have to either walk in the street in the dark or on the...
