Lovely, large and beautifully maintained. Wide expanse of green grass surrounds an island of playground equipment. The whole thing is ringed by paved path under shade trees. About 4 parallel parking spots on Lloyd Street, and there's a walkthrough gate on the opposite side of the park. That gate leads to parking lot of a medical business, as well as Odd Fellows Cemetery. It was perfect for a quick dogwalk around the path, and the green space's size looks like a great place for kids who need to run!

This park is really nice. It has a tennis court, a shaded place for a picnic, and the playground was in great shape. We walked, but there's a couple of parking spaces near by too. We went in the morning in late July so it was a bit too hot to play on for an extended period of time. Although, the trees look like they'd provide shade in the late afternoon.

Nice quiet neighborhood park great for a dog walk. Only downside is no public restroom. Very pretty and relaxing some fun little paths through a small wooded area up by the neighborhood entrance. Love it here!

. During my recent visit, I found myself captivated by the park's serene ambiance and diverse recreational opportunities.Upon arrival, I was greeted by the park's lush greenery and towering trees, instantly immersing me in a sense of tranquility. The well-maintained trails beckoned me to explore further, and I eagerly embarked on a leisurely stroll along the lakeside path. The scenery was breathtaking, with the shimmering waters of Lake Serenity reflecting the vibrant hues of the surrounding foliage. One of the highlights of my visit was the variety of activities available at Barclift Park. From kayaking and paddleboarding to fishing and picnicking, there was no shortage of ways to enjoy the great outdoors. I opted to rent a kayak and spent a peaceful afternoon gliding across the glassy surface of the lake, taking in the panoramic views and basking in the warm sunlight. For those seeking a more laid-back experience, the park offers plenty of idyllic spots for relaxation and reflection. I found a cozy bench overlooking the water and savored a quiet moment to soak in the natural beauty around me. The gentle rustle of leaves and the distant calls of wildlife provided the perfect soundtrack to my escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.In addition to its recreational amenities, Barclift Park also boasts excellent facilities, including clean restrooms, ample parking, and convenient picnic areas equipped with grills. Whether visiting solo, with family, or friends, the park caters to all ages and interests, making it an ideal destination for a day trip or weekend getaway.Overall, my experience at Barclift Park was nothing short of enchanting. From its pristine landscapes to its wealth of outdoor activities, the park offers a sanctuary for nature enthusiasts seeking solace and adventure. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor passing through, I highly recommend adding Barclift Park to your list of must-visit...

It'd probably be better if there was more to do. The toys are very basic and more dangerous than safe for small children. Most of the children can't get up the toys because they are too tall for the kids. Even I, at 18 and 5'9", need to grab onto a handle to help lift myself into the platforms. The tennis court is nice and usually clean, but the basketball court is a joke. As a long time basketball player, and yes I know I'm only 18, it's only half court and there's no lines or anything for practice. You shouldn't have an attempt of a court without some kind of effort. The City of Tumwater also does not maintain it very often and they're always low on doggy bags. The sign says to leave a doggy back if you take one, but we're taking one because we're all out. It is almost always empty so people can't pick up after their dog and they have to walk off in embarrassment. Not to mention there is no bathroom of any kind like most city parks, not even a port-o-potty. The picnic tables have disgusting messes on them and the city does nothing about them and most if the tables are broken and haven't been replaced since the park came to be. They do not trim the trees branches so the wind can easily knock over branches, which is a safety hazard. The trail is very bumpy and you can easily trip over it because of the...
