Ridiculously long line spilling into the aisle and getting longer. I ask the cashier if any other checkers were coming and her only response is, "Not likely." The line is getting longer so I finally ask her, "Well, can you call more checkers, please?" Then some customer who is closer to the front of the line, (so why would she care?), tells me to be more patient. We customers have refrigerated and frozen items melting in our cart. While it doesn't matter to customers at the front of the line, it's a problem for us in the back. It is NEVER appropriate for a cashier to have a nonchalant, "No, sorry" attitude when we ask them for more checkers. I'll give them another chance since I complained to headquarters and frequent this store. As for the self-righteous, virtue-signaling, hypocrite who told me to be patient when she was getting served in the front of the line while my groceries are melting in the back, how about you help us out by cashiering yourself, otherwise shut your mouth ? The manager ( short blonde hair) told her new employee â I know you are intimidated by the use of the register and conveyor belt but Do not I repeat do not turn on the conveyor belt and let it run while ringing up customersâ . The gal was mortified . Then the same manager proceeded to put all of my groceries in a totally different cart . I asked about the quarter cart return and she said â all carts have quarters in them â I said mine didnât I put a quarter in to unlock this cartâ she just kept repeating over again every cart has a quarter in it! I ended up spending $175 on groceries but never again ! This store is set up for failure and will close its doors in less than 2 years . Terrible service , non existence employees and degrading management to both employees and customers .. Aldi - go across the street to Trader Joeâs and learn how...
   Read moreI was at the self checkout and obviously they had a hand held scanner for the items which I prefer to use. For some reason, it doesn't work when you try to scan produce and meats and it gives you an annoying prompt to enter the item you are trying to purchase.
I was coming to the conclusion that maybe the scanner didn't work for these items but at that moment I swear Bhad Bhabie was working there but just without the fame and everything else. Regardless, rather than get up and tell me what the issue was she sat on the chair they have at the register and just yelled from there to not use the gun. She couldn't be bothered to do her job and rather than apologize she got up and walked away because I decided to talk back to her.
The customer service definitely needs to be improved here if they hire people that can not be bothered to...
