I had a difficult experience at another local wedding dress shop, where I was met with rudeness and judgment as soon as I walked in with my baby. I was told I needed an appointment to browse, but no one offered to schedule one, and I left feeling upset and disheartened. As a first time bride with no prior experience attending weddings, I had no idea appointments were required, and my baby was exclusively breastfed, so leaving her was not an option.

Thankfully, when I called Ooh LaLa Boutique, the experience was completely different. Although the shop was preparing to close, the owner welcomed me warmly and took the time to help me shop through the available dresses. She was not in a rush to leave and made me feel incredibly comfortable and welcome, with such genuine care for me and my baby.

The atmosphere was so inviting and family friendly that I didn’t want to shop anywhere else. I found a dress I loved, and the owner tailored it to fit me herself, making the whole experience so personal and special. I couldn’t have asked for a better shopping experience.

Back in 2015 I was 15 years old and couldn’t go to prom until my moms friend gracefully paid for my ticket, and someone in the community gracefully gave me a dress, the only thing that was wrong was the dress didn’t fit me, OOH LA LA saw my moms post trying to make it able for me to go and she hemmed my dress the day of prom 45 minutes before prom she also blessed me with a headband with rhinestones since I wasn’t planning on going to prom my hair wasn’t done or anything. Fast fwd to 2024 just 2 days ago OOH LA LA helped me pick out my vow renewal dress, when she originally got this dress in store she didn’t think it was going to sale because of a certain thing on it, but she just thought of me when I told her what I was invisioning, not only does my dress look so beautiful it has Gods promise written all over it and I couldn’t be more thrilled and happy!
