Five Below — Attraction in Tyler

Really love 5 bel°w. We come everytime we visit my daughter in Rusk Texas. We don't have one back in alexandria LA. The store was clean, organized, well stocked especially for this time of year. Employees friendly and helpful. And instead of an actual person cashier they have 5or6 self checkouts. Only problem I had was I was paying with a hundred dollar bill. All the cash on me. An employee got the manager. She couldn't get it to work either. She kept holding my bill up to the light to make sure it wasn't fake, which I understand. I asked if she could just break the bill and let me pay with a smaller bill. She eventually asked me to wait and she went somewhere (office I guess), she came back with 5 20dollar bills. Everything was fine then. I get why she checked bill several times, and possibly had to check with her boss before making her next move. Makes me wonder if any of registers are designed to take 100$ bills,,, and they should have the kind of marker to check big bills. Anyway, despite this, we still...

Visit the store over a week ago. Enjoyed shopping as early bird until checked out time. Young lady assist me checking out items at checked out. Basket fulled of items placed in bags and placed backed in basket. Getting ready walked out door shopping cart wouldn't pulled through outer door. I kept trying. Suddenly same checker said I couldn't take cart outside. Young lady told me i can leaved things in store and come backed and get items i could not carry. I'm senior citizen and it's hot and i wasn't going leave items inside store as i go backed and fourth loading items. I appreciate young couple who saw i was in distressed and offten carry all my bags to car. Shame on this store and lacked of concern towards senior citizens after they spend...

Went in to night, on a Sunday not knowing they closed at 6pm. Was greeted by an employee within seconds. "We close in 2 mins so you might want to hurry up".... wow, just wow! This is the customer service we get.. so we are sushi g just to see what they have, and as we're waiting in line looking at somethji g else, a lady, a different employee informs us that if we don't "hurry up and check out, that the registers will get shut down"... How can I hurry up when you have 4 people working, 1 register workimg and you barking at people to hurry up? Really? Not impressed at all!!...
