This park really is amazing, covering all sorts of interests. For those who love softball or baseball, more than 9 fields on which to play/practice. There's a large enough pond/small lake on which to place a small ⛵ to tool around and fish (as well as ample pond/small lake-side areas from which to cast a line). A splash park for the kidlets to romp and play on jungle gyms and run thru jets and spritz of water. Nestled in its own area so families feel safe and those in other parts of the park can do their thing without concern. If you've a mountain bike, this is one of many good places to ride. With simple trails along all of A, B & D, and some parts of C. If up for some challenges, explore more of C, there's more than 16 miles of it in there!! Me and my pups love the hiking!! Please know proper trail etiquette, waddle opposite direction on the bike trails, and pick up after the poochies!! The main perimeter path is where ones will mainly find those with pups, small children on bikes, etc, and can become congested at peek hours, cooler temp seasons. Most are friendly and helpful, but know, amongst us all, there will be that rude/entitled/carless one, but that's anywhere one may go, so ignore them and continue to do the right thing and and will be fine. There are picnic benches if one wants to come enjoy lunch watching the ducks bombard ya to share what you're eating, or to do a small evening BBQ. That was fun one night until the geese showed up and it was definitely time to go. Oh yeah, tennis, DUH!! Enuff of those loose balls for every ball-crazy puppy to have a blast!! And for those that play tennis, courts are well-maintained, organized, with pros on sight, and ample...
Read moreSkatepark is great! super flowy mostly transition, only a few street obstacles, with some complain about. But the number one problem is the little kids not watching out for people and hurting them selfes and others! Parents please do not just drop your kids off and be mindful that putting them in a skate park with a bunch of skaters that have been doing this for years is like putting them in the middle of a NFL football game, if they dont watch and take turns with everyone else thay will probably get seriously injured or injure someone else who is trying to stop before they hot them by ACCIDENT! That being said if some does hit you child is was not on purpose so dont freak out on them and tell them it was there fault odds are the kid probably didnt watch before he went and...
Read moreThis was my first time to go and visit this park. I was entitled for a day and a 1/2 and I needed to go for a walk and I found this one to be close to where I was staying. There is plenty of parking at the entrance and a beautiful little bridge starting the path. There are 2 main paths for the walkers assured in the long and several other paths for mountain bikers. It is a beautiful area with well maintained paths and lots of signs to help you walk around. The only complaint I had about it was that he was short. I went around the short loop and the long loop twice and that took me less than 40 minutes. It is nice for short walks but for long walks it will get boy and...
