I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the quality of service and sanitation I experienced at your establishment on December 21, 2023. As a Chef myself, I am appalled by the lack of basic hygiene practices and customer service demonstrated by your staff especially during Flu season
During my visit, I observed Anthony's unsatisfactory handling of hygiene protocols, particularly during flu season. Despite my polite request for him to change his gloves, he not only refused but argued insistently that he had just changed them. This blatant disregard for sanitary guidelines is unacceptable.
To compound the issue, Another employee Which acted as though he was the manager Name Roy dismissively told me to calm down, despite my maintaining a reasonable demeanor. It is disheartening to see that fundamental sanitary principles are not valued by individuals representing your establishment.
Furthermore, I never received my food as Roy prioritized temperature checks over serving the customer. While I understand the importance of food safety, refusing service without proper explanation or accommodation is inexcusable, especially in a food service environment.
It is disconcerting to witness such lapses in basic hygiene and customer service at an establishment that, even if not a 5-star restaurant, should still adhere to industry standards this isn’t a construction site. Read moreThe customer service at this Chipotle is terrible. I walked up and said that I was picking up a catering order. The lady standing in the drive thru lane looked over and asked what my name was and continued to work on what she was doing. Then 5 seconds later she told me not to block the area I was standing in. She couldn’t seem to relay to me that she heard me and what my next steps were, but she could tell me what not to do. I said I didn’t know that she heard me and didn’t acknowledge that she just told me to got sit down and get out of that area as her next response. Next, the young lady from the counter brought me the box of my food and I said can we check to make sure we have all my food? And she looked at me and walked away with the receipt in her hand. What is wrong with your location?? I would upload a receipt below but I don’t have one. I do catering every other week for my office but I will make sure to never order from this location again. The young lady at the register handed me box and after walking away I checked it, and a bean container was open and had spilled on the bottom as well. After waiting anxiously for them to open, I went there at 11 am on a Tuesday only to find out that they did not have any guacamole so I had to order chips with queso for my side. Not too bad, right? Wrong! The chips were cold, limp, sticky and tasted awful. I took the bag back to the counter and they just handed me another bag and said "Try these", The second bag was as bad as the first so my chips and queso went in the garbage as did my pathetic carnitas bowl which had zero flavor and nothing of substance other than the beans and rice. I have eaten at dozens of Chipotles, including hte one at Broadway Plaza mall and never had this kind of experience. I paid $20 for something I could not eat and they would not even give me a receipt when I paid because they claimed the printer was not working. What part of a brand new store with a card processing system that works flawlessly but can't print you a receipt sounds fishy?
