Please don't go here and try to "sell" your kids clothing unless you are a Richie-Rich. Even if you bring in freshly laundered, IRONED name brands lime baby gap, nautica, Lands End...the list goes on, clothes; the little girls who work at this location will judge YOU by how you look and they won't accept your clothes. I had a girl tell me some of my son's clothes had an odor...ALL the clothes were in a basket together and hung in the same closet and were washed yesterday. She said denim jeans from Gembore, made to look faded in the front and back, and CLEARLY a smart person could tell that, were unacceptable. A HUGE $150 Lands End winter coat...rejected because of a dog hair...A Polo winter jacket...REJECTED...this company clearly is not in the business of helping Tyler moms who need their children to look nice but cannot afford it. Oh and the behavior of the girls working there, don't even get me started, I was treated like white trash that was not good enough to grace their presence. I called and asked to speak to the owner, the girl laughed at me, I told her I wanted her to convey to JULIE (The owner) that I wanted a phone call back. SHE SAID "I can let her know but I can't make her call you"...like I'm stupid, and she was LAUGHING..totally disrespectful behavior by some 12 year olds running a store, clearly being made to think they are better than people! I wouldn't support his store of the clothes were FREE, it does not support Tyler moms...stick to CCC sale moms you will be treated much better and you will never be made to feel inferior by anyone!
UPDATE I was contacted by the owners of this store after my post was made public. I would like to say both Mike and Julie were very apologetic, and made me feel like my feelings were heard. I returned to the store the Monday following this post and Julie reviewed my clothing items and I made a sale. I was also informed that all situations are taken very seriously and my problem was noted and would be solved. I appreciate the prompt response and the recognition of...
Read moreI don’t know what it is about these stores. Every time without fail, no matter the location, the customer service here is not only lacking, but it is exceptionally bad. I came in on Friday to purchase some stuff, hopeful that this new to me location would be different than the rest. I go to check out and the card readers are down (no problem, I think the whole shopping center was dealing with an outage). So I’m told I can pay cash or put on hold. Well I drove over an hour to get here - so I ask if I can come back on Monday. 3 employees behind the counter look absolutely dumb founded. One of the gals says “that should be fine, just know that this isn’t something we can do normally”. Ok, LOL. YOUR card readers are down! This isn’t ME asking you for a favor. I don’t desperately need this $20 worth of clothes. I go back today, and lo and behold, they didn’t hold the items for me. Not only that, but the same lady that told me they couldn’t do this extended hold on a regular basis, looked right at me and played dumb about the clothes being put back. I know she remembered me. Proceeded to not be helpful at all and all 3 of them just awkwardly walked away as if I wasn’t there. NOT ONLY that, but both times I went to the counter (to ask for my held items and then to check out after searching around the store for them) they just flat out ignore you standing at the counter, until you say “excuse me? Can I get some help?”
It is so unfortunate and so unnecessary to have such rude employees. Honestly. Get it together OUAC.
Editing to add: you may have “addressed” the terminal issue, but you didn’t address the general unhelpful nature of the employees. I had 5 shirts to purchase and I left my phone number per their request. They absolutely could have called to confirm whether or not I was coming back. Terminal issues or not, you are running a business. Teach your employees to be friendly...
Read moreIt hurts my heart to leave a review like this because, I've honestly always have had fair offers. Today on the other hand was not the case. I brought 2 bins full of: sanitized, with all or mostly all of their pieces, in little baggies so they wouldn't get mixed up and they only bought, 4 or 5 of those big sister LOL dolls and a LOL dollhouse (not the big one but, still almost $80 retail) it was missing one little part that went to the bed and I believe that was it. I was offered $46 the LOL dolls the house came with, they didn't even take. I asked the lady that bought the stuff what was wrong? ( for me next time, ya know? So I'm not wasting both our times by bringing in things you aren't interested in) She said, we don't take boardgames - I didn't have any games, I did have a mini store/ mini brands toy store, in its box and a world map with felt labels, that I bought there! Also in its box. She also said they had too many toys and don't really need a whole lot at this time. That's where I got confused because I took pictures of the toy department and it was EMPTY, and the toys that were there were either, missing a bunch of their pieces or had none at all. I've been a seller with yall for a few years now and I know me saying something like "I'm never going back there again!!!" Isn't going to do any good but, yall really hurt my feelings today and made me feel dirty by saying really loud that if somethings dirty or old they don't take them. Just look at the pictures and tell me if I'm just making something out of nothing or what cause...
