I have seen this place just window shopping and have been wanting to go in. I had a funeral this past weekend and we were staying in OKC for a couple of nights. I was looking for a couple of things decided to finally go in. I started at the front of the store made my way around had an arm full of items. I saw a family leaving because they unfortunately were in the predicament as my self but they couldn’t find 1 thing in the whole store. Never once, not one time was I approached to see if I needed help finding something. As I made my way to the dressing room a lady comes out showing the lady at the cash register what she had tried on. I over heard them talking because at this point it was evident that they were both employees one was trying on the dress for the other one because she was the same size as her mother… I am shown into a fitting room. I tried on an outfit I was a little unsure of I came out to ask if it seemed appropriate and there is no one to ask. No one. Because the staff was trying on clothes. Now if I was the only customer in the store I maybe able to understand but there were about 10-15 people shopping. I get my things. The one lady did help me find a different color of a dress I liked. I was paying and I said something like y’all need more staff to help and her response was they don’t really like coming to the store when they aren’t at work so they do their personal shopping while they are there. I understand I avoid my work place when I am not working as well. But to have customers and instead of just offering to help them you are too busy doing your own shopping baffles me. I love the pieces I found in there but unfortunately I will not be back. To say I was disappointed is an...
Read moreVersona has been a favorite boutique of mine for quite some time, but my recent visit left me disappointed and hesitant to come back. The doors were locked before closing time. Despite arriving with plenty of time to spare, the Key Holder tried to turn away both me and another customer who needed to make a return. Who knows how long the doors were locked before we showed up.
What added to the frustration was witnessing another customer being told by the same employee to put her items on hold for the next day, even though the store had not yet closed. I heard the customer say that she needed her clothes for the following day, as did I, so at that point I just decided to leave.
My advice to others would be to avoid visiting this boutique within an hour before closing, especially on a Friday. It's disappointing when a store doesn't maintain consistent customer service standards. In all my years working in retail, one thing we were never allowed to do is close the...
Read moreI have always loved this store and the staff has always been extremely nice and helpful, but today was a different story! There were 3 girls working, the store was not busy, yet not one of them tried to help me. One of them stood in the middle of the store twirling her keys most of the time I was in there. I felt like I was bothering them the whole time, so I finally just left without buying anything. It was an extremely disappointing experience. I don’t live in Tyler, and I have always looked forward to shopping at Versona. I guess I will have to find a...
