Thank you for this opportunity to give feedback regarding my experience. On one side, the (Customer)Service was/is top notch. On the other side, unfortunately, is not so great, which causes me much frustration. The issue surrounds obtaining a replacement filter for my Dyson air purifier. In May, I took my air purifier to your Union City location. The male representative (Aaron), was kind, sincere, and apologetic because the filter I needed JUST ran out at their store. Nonetheless, he guided me through ordering one to arrive soon. Soon didn't happen, nut instead a notice of delay was sent to me, without any form of compensation. My child has bad allergies, so I am grieving because of my child'sdiscomfort. Today I have returned to the Union City store where I was assisted by Karen. I explained my frustration. She patiently listened, excused herself, went to the back of the store, returned with "the only filter" she had in the store, and gave it to me. Wow. The service I always receive from the Union City store versus the service-by-phone-to-order is like night and day. The Union City staff is professional, knowledgeable, kind, patient, and helpful. I originally made my Dyson purchase on their website and long story short my purchase was cancelled, supposedly rectified, cancelled again & then could no longer be processed (over a 2 week timeline). I was very upset as my purchase was suppose to be a surprise gift by 7/12. I asked for the nearest Dyson store and this place was mentioned.
Instead of driving from SJ to Union City I called and was blessed with Alex - a breath of fresh air in terms of customer service. He was very professional and personable as I explained my dilemma, he pulled my purchase info. up right away, assured me that my product was available in-store and ready to go, and made sure my purchase was processed in time for it to go out that same day with UPS. He even said “oh UPS just got here, let’s make sure this goes out with them today”. He saw to it that my shipment would be 2-day shipping, just in time for my gift to still be a surprise.

Read moreDropped off in person an air purifier that is under warranty on 6/2 (Mon) and was told it should be ready by Wed latest Fri. I started calling since that Friday and was never able to talk to them. No return call despite I left voicemails. No any form of communication from them regarding any status. Status as “received” never changed on the online repair tracking page.
Called Dyson customer service and was told to wait for 21 business days. I waited and called again on 6/30. They filed an escalation, which takes 1-3 business days. On the 3rd day (7/3) I called again and they told me the repair center asked for the tracking number of the machine that I ship???????? Then I was promised an email update because they have a dedicated team trying to reach the repair center. I never received any email. By almost midnight I contacted Dyson again thru chat. The agent created another escalation asking me to wait 1-3 biz days again and told me this is the best he could do.
To be more ridiculous, this place is now temporarily closed....
