This place is ridiculously SUPER expensive!!! They are ripping people off!! You get donated items. Free stuff ! And they sell it like it was new. Wait, and they sell Louis Vitoun, Gucci items that you can tell are FAKE!!! I thought you couldn't sell FAKE!! name brand items. No, only they are FAKE, but the prices are like if you were buying real stuff. They have an LV pink and black - FAKE for $199.99. WHAT?? They should all be arrested for saling like a black market!! BOOTLEG!! Items! Then, to top it all, I witness a manager/security harrasing people. He loves to discriminate, harrassing, steroid typing, and humiliting people. Wait ✋️ I know because one day I was stopped and was checked all my items. They wanted to check somewhere else, and I said, "Nope, you're checking it right here where I can see you. After they check everything in FRONT of me. They didn't find NOTHING!! I was giving my receipt, and out I went. No, even an apology! If they stop, you make sure they check your stuff in front of you because they will all try to check it, and what they do is rip tag and make it look like you did to accuse you!! BEWARE!!! AVIOD THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN! GO TO GOODWILL, INSPIRATION OR ELSE WHERE. If you want to harrass or accuse, this is the place to go!!! The worst is that the corporate office doesn’t do ANYTHING!!!!
The manage/security walks around all cocky, arranged, and like his $#!+ don't stink. He goes around looking for his next victim and has the employee to look for his next victim too. He probably gets paid $22 hour acting like he gets paid six figures. Then again, six figures people have more class than that. This might be the only job he ever got with so much attention. I am sure there are people who steal, but NOT everyone does.
BEWARE THE MANAGEMENT is HORRIBLE!! Even when you get caught stealing in mayor stores, they take you to the back so no one sees whats going on. I have been to stores where I have witnessed people taking elsewhere. This is ALL a SHOW for everyone to see at this store!!! I have been there and seen it before! I remembered a few months back they stopped a black lady they checked her there, she was upset and refused to buy anything. The manager started yelling at her in front of everyone that she was not allowed at the store again. If she came back, she was going to be arrested, and everyone stopped to look at him. Then he started to walk all proud and cocky. WHAT?? REALLY?? I am sure if she did or didn't change tags but there is no need to humiliate people. I go here maybe 2 times a year if I am up in the area because I am more South Jersey, but after what I keep seeing, I...
Read moreOwner is insane. I have been warned about this place before, but didn't listen because the prices were somewhat better than other thrift stores . I spent about an hour walking around picking out stuff. Some things were priced crazy but others were fine.
I go to check out and the cashier peels a sticker off the price I picked the item up at and calls the manager over. He changes the price of that item and one other item (that only had 1 sticker) and accuses me of changing the price of both.... Sir you not properly training your pricing employees is not my problem. Train your employees not to misprice or double sticker things. He said he wasn't going to let me back in if he saw it happen again..... I left my whole cart there and just exited the building. What an insane way to treat customers. You don't have to worry about me coming back, I would never stand for being treated like that again. Keep your garbage, I could buy it cheaper on eBay anyway. One of the items was literally a messed up very chipped decorative dish stand and he said I had to pay 1 more dollar for it…. That is headed the landfill.
If you give employees any incentive to “catch” sticker swappers, they will double sticker items and you will lose customers who did not do anything wrong.
I had a friend who last year picked up a children's camera off the shelf and went to buy it and the owner snatched it from him and said it was mispriced...
The greed is insane. this stuff is all free to your center, how dare you accuse random people of sticker swapping because you yourself can't price every single item. You are losing money, & customers by acting this way and ultimately more things are going into the landfill because you are stopping people from...
Read moreI conquered with the last writer, yesterday was my First and LAST time shopping at this place. After I spent ~$300, packed my own items, had to walk over the a separate area so they could remove the alarm on my items and I was in the process of walking out I was abruptly pull to the side to have every single item I bought taken out of my bag and cart to check against my receipt.
My friend was also pulled from the line and taken to the office because she had cash and no ID. She was accused of “ not bringing ID because you want to steal”. I had no idea this was happening to her because at this time the worker was going through my stuff and receipt. When I asked him why I was stopped he said he would tell me at the end. When he was finished verifying that EVERY item was paid for and I asked him again, he said his manager would let me know.
The manager came back, he never address me NOR DID EITHER OF THEM APOLOGIZE, I asked him why I was stopped and he said store policy. He was very dismissive, rude, condescending, unprofessional and passive aggressive.
A day that was supposed to be a fun girl’s trip Thrifting was ruined by the lack of professionalism and rude behavior, specifically of the “Manager” who did not give me his name and kept walking away when I was asking him for answers. Needless to say they have not heard the last of me, treating customers in the matter in which they did is TOTALLY unacceptable. I will be filing a formal complaint with their corporate office. I understand enforcing policies, but there is a level of professionalism that a business should abide by, a customer should not be treated the way we...
