I went here a little over 2 months ago and my order was slaughtered. A ordered a sandwhich(which comes plain and I said plain for extra clarification) and it came with mayo, the works, lettuce, and tomato. I ordered root beer with no ice (knowing that it comes with no ice) and it came with ice. And lastly I wanted cheese curds with bbq sauce Instead of fries. And it came with French fries, no bbq sauce and salt which I didn't even ask for. Since I live 1 hour and 20 minutes away from this location I called immediately. My name and address was taken, I was given an apology and they said a coupon was sent out. 2 1/2 weeks go by and we have nothing. So we call and they say they do not have my number or information written down, but that means they may have already sent it out. So we wait another 1 1/2 weeks and still nothing so we call AGAIN. He apologized and took down our information and said he would have a manager call us to settle it and send out a coupon in the mean time. To no surprise, the manager never called and it has now been another 4 weeks since that last call and still nothing in our mail. So 2 full months have gone by now and still nothing. I'm thoroughly completely and totally disappointed in this location. And considering I worked at a culvers for over a year up until last August I would go as far to say this is the worst culvers I've ever been to and am amazed at the realization of how they treat their customers. Read moreAs we all know, Culvers has delicious food and frozen custard. I drove through the one in Iowa City last night and had just a terrible customer service experience.. All I ordered was a scoop of vanilla in a waffle cone, a water, and a rootbeer. The wait was super long, but fine, I understand that there were people who ordered their food ahead of me. When I finally got to the window, I paid with cash. When the cashier handed me my change some of it fell on the ground and the girl behind the window didn't even acknowledge that it had happened. She just turned around. Like okay... Then they handed me a half melted ice cream cone that had clearly been scooped when I ordered it 10 minutes earlier. She said to have a good night. I told her I had ordered a rootbeer, forget the water, and she said I didn't. I was already annoyed about the change and the wait so I decided to cut my losses and asked if they would rescoop my melted ice cream. She acted like it was this huge deal and I could hear other staff members complaining about it inside. If someone is spending their money at your store, all they expect is to get what they paid for at its peak quality. Ordered my food, was not given a receipt, they slapped a number on my car so I pulled forward (after 3 others) and waited. 10 minutes, someone finally got their food, 5 more minutes, someone else got their food and an attempt was made to give me another order that wasn’t mine. 2 minutes, kid comes out and hands me a bag and takes my number, I inspect the “order receipt” on the outside and see that this isn’t my order so I yelled to the kid walking away. They say sorry and come back 2 minutes later with a manager? No name tag that I could see? I had to clarify 3 different times what my order was to this person. 2 minutes later they both returned, stating the food I ordered and handed me the bag. There was still another person ahead of me that hadn’t received their order, RIP.
