My grandfather used to take us kids up here for ice-cream at Graeter's and my grandma a Chinese food restaurant. That was 30 something maybe longer years ago. The structure of the strip mall has changed as has the stores. Everything is beautiful on the outside looking at the buildings, the store window displays, the luxury apartments, and all of the food at the multiple restaurants there. It is a great place to go if you have a day to shop, get a manicure, eat, have a drink(the alcoholic kind), you can even get special dog treats and shop at the swanky grocery store there. And you will need money $$$ for this trip. Pricey for people like me, normal for that part of town. But no worries there's ATMs throughout the land over there and multiple banking...
Read moreI like it here. Faze accessories and clothing store is still here, I believe, and they have wonderful items. The asian bistro is quite good, a little pricey, but worth checking out. They have ulta and pier one and generally good shops for browsing. Unfortunately for me they just lost the gymboree, oh well. There are quite a few more shops, like the stromboli place at the west end (sorry, I should have looked it up for you), that I'd like to try out as well.
