I wanted to take some time before writing this review to reflect and remove as much emotion as possible.
Let me start by saying — the throwing experience itself was absolutely amazing. We had a group of four doing a session as a Mother's Day gift, and we all left feeling genuinely happy, inspired, and excited. It was a wonderful activity, and I even recommended the studio to others afterward because of how much fun we had. During the session, we were told to not trim the edges on the items as they would clean it up - that did not occur.
At the end of the session, we were told our pieces would be ready in 4–6 weeks and that we would receive a call once they were finished. I was still really excited, so I called at the 4-week mark to check in. At that point, I was told there had been a delay getting the pieces into the kiln. I completely understood — I know we're not the only customers, and I expressed that over the phone. I was told they should be ready the following week.
However, I never received a follow-up call. Disappointed, but still understanding that kiln timelines can be unpredictable, I waited and then called again at week 6. I was told again that they weren’t ready, and that it would be another couple of days. A week later, still no call. At the 8-week mark, I called again and was finally told the pieces were ready. They apologized for not notifying me earlier.
When I went to pick up the items, I gave some constructive feedback: if the timeline is likely to be longer, it’s better to communicate a 6–8 week window instead of 4–6. Customers will appreciate early delivery more than delays with no updates.
At pickup, I was told that the delay might have been due to lost pieces — which was never mentioned in any of the previous phone calls. When I got home and FaceTimed the rest of our group, we realized one piece was missing and one didn’t belong to us. I called again, and the staff insisted that what we had was correct and nothing else was at the studio.
Luckily, one of us had taken a photo of all the pieces we made. I had to text them proof, and only then did they acknowledge the mistake and tell me the missing item was available for pickup. I returned the incorrect item myself because it wasn’t ours, and I knew someone else deserved to have their piece returned. They did not even ask for me to return the other person's item!
What’s most disappointing is that despite all of this — the lost items, repeated miscommunication, lack of proactive follow-up, and me having to prove the mix-up — no one ever reached out to offer a sincere apology or acknowledgment of the overall experience. That lack of customer service is what really soured what was initially such a beautiful experience.
I truly loved the throwing session, and I hope others still get to enjoy that part. But I now tell people to be cautious — because while the activity is fantastic, there’s a risk you may not receive all your pieces back, and you may have to chase down updates well beyond the...
Read moreI went here for my little sisters birthday and I love the idea of making/painting pottery, however, when I got my pottery back after like a month, I realized it looked nothing like what I made. Idk why but my mug was much shorter and the handle wasn’t as smoothly attached anymore and also much smaller than what I made. I remember being able to fit my hand fully in it but now I can only fit the tips of my fingers 😭 It’s also really obvious that they smoothed out the inside of the mug. It looks like it was put on the wheel tbh. It’s really disappointing that your pottery isn’t handled properly and edited without asking first. My mug also shrank but maybe it’s from the kiln or amount of time it’s been out, I don’t know. For the price, I expected better. Despite this, I love the idea and vibe of this place and maybe next time will...

There's a huge variety of pieces to pick from and some items change. The owner is...
