This was my first time visiting this location. I was there for the Azalea Festival. It's wasn't anything like back home, where we have the Dade Youth Fair in Miami. However, the location was good. There were lots of vendors selling very over priced foods i.e. footlong hot dogs, fries. funnel cakes, fish/shrimp meals, Philly cheese steak subs, artwork, tee shirts, nice homemade jewelry, oils for men with beards, plants, pony rides, bounce houses, bounce slides, live music, vendor processing car deals and much more. There were plenty of adults and children of all races, nationalities and sizes. People were there with all types of dogs. The playground area was just okay. My honest opinion is that it needs more asphalt paving to keep the visitor shoes clean and it makes the walking around the park easier. There were several porta-potties for restroom usage that appeared clean on the outside, the park was a very friendly dog park with people bringing tiny pup to large dogs that a child could ride. The picnic area was great. There was seating under the trees in shaded areas of the park and if you wanted to sit in the direct sunlight; there were accomodations. Overall, the park is a great place...

While these probably went along with the condom wrapper we continued to play even though it made me a little uneasy. Not long after a few feet from the underwear on the other side of the slide there was a used bloody tampon just laying there. I was here with my one and two year olds who could have easily picked this disgusting thing up. That was the last straw and we packed up...
