Not fancy at all just good food. Very small place off of a Mexican grocery market. More tables outside in a patio but it was too hot to be out there. I had pork tamales that was served with fresh cilantro, chopped tomato, chopped onion and sour cream. Phenomenal! The quesadilla I had with steak, sauteed onions, peppers and mushrooms. It was huge! Very delicious! I had a side of refried beans with that. My only negative critiques would be the huge margarita was way too sweet, I knew it was going to come from a mix - I should of had a beer. And the chips had a slight tenge of old oil. But the main food was way too good to dwell on that. Inexpensive! With a bowling ball size margarita, the whole meal was only $15.59. I'll be back next time I spend a night in Valdosta.

I have visited the supermarket before, but never the restaurant. I love the Mexican colors, tables and decor; especially to see our famous Pedro Infante portraits 💖. The tacos were amazing and delicious guayaba “guava” juice! You can find all kinds of of products, refreshments, vegetables, spices, breads and meat in the supermarket. Things that you can’t find in the “Big” retailers…you will find them here…especially our Hispanic products. They provided a Friendly and excellent service. They are bilingual so anyone is welcome! It is good to support small businesses! Must definitely will come back! Adelante hermanos Latinos!

Been coming here with my family for 10 years . Since the new owners took over everything went downhill and i never knew that would mean the food quality as weel. I tried so hard to be positive and look on the brighter side of things since this is the only place in valdosta that sells tongue tacos and menudo ( a mexican delicacy) but today was the last straw. Not only the service was horrible but a torta cubana tasted nothing like what it used to! How can you mess up something so simple. Had hardly any flavor. Now for the menudo i understand its super Super hard to wash and cook this delicacy, but TODAY it smelled horrifying and seemed like they didn't wash it correctly. I got so sick just from the smell and couldn't dare myself to try it. This place is definitely not what it used to be. Its so heartbreaking because of all the 10 plus years of memories i had with this place and i was too stubborn to let this place go that easily regardless of who the new owners are. I called my whole family and told them my experience. Needless to say we are gonna have to travel to cairo from now on to get our authentic mexican fix. Goodbye La jalisco. Thank you so much for all...

This place has daily specials and GREAT FOOD. The staff is okay. I could go there daily to eat lunch and dinner as if it were my personal kitchen. However, be sure to ensure that you are not double tipping i.e. cash and via card. I only had it happen once, but it's not the best feeling when it does...unless of course the service was exceptional. They have a great patio, cool music (I saw a question about it, I believe it was Mexican the times I went). They also have a deli and fresh meat and produce section. Be careful to check the price you are charged verses the price that is listed. The management is great. FOR THEIR RESTAURANT THEY CUT their meats fresh in house btw and ACTUALLY supply the meats for some of the other Mexican restaurants. If that doesn't wow you, I don't know what will. So even if you are not going to dine you can go get fresh cuts of meat as they have an in house butcher. I met the owner briefly by mistake...and wow what a great person. He educated me on the restaurant. It was very interesting and enlightening. Good place. Good vibes. Great for after...

I Just step out of this "restaurant " the server she just ignore us after I say good afternoon, after 2 minutos of her checking her wallet I was acknowledged and greet at the counter. Then after our food was serve the beans was spoiled, smell passed their time, we ask to get exchanged and we got tge same mexican steak without the beans. Also the menudo of my husband has more bones in it than actual menudo. We left a tip as well. We wa t to get them better, pleas chef verified your food before you serve it. Please make tge waiter and all the counters take a customer sevice class and how to prioritize customers not just their boyfriends or family. To thr management, your establishment is crowded and good selection of products. ORGANIZED IT A LITTLE BETTER. clean it as well. That kitchen floor needs a good scrub.Get better, comtetion is across the street or down the road. THE ONLY GOOD WE HAD WAS THE JAMAICA WATER AND was labeled guayaba. So please get it together. Serving spoiled food...
