Deli House — Restaurant in Valdosta

This was my second time ordering from here. I ordered the deli special, just like last time, and added a note for it to be a chicken Philly since there is no option on DoorDash for a chicken Philly on the deli special. My order was perfect the first time. The second time, they gave me my order wrong and gave me a steak Philly. I went back and politely asked for it fixed. The guy was SO rude and disrespectful. He slapped my box and slammed it back in my hands and told me it wasn't his problem and then stormed into the back. I don't eat beef. I made it clear I wanted chicken on my DoorDash order, like last time. So rude.

Update: I contact DoorDash. They reached out to Deli House and made them make me a new order....

Jen and I had time for a longer lunch and we had been reading the billboard for this restaurant. We were welcomed very quickly and all of our questions were answered. The main attraction for us was that they had several no meat no dairy entrees. I chose the burger and Jen had the gyro. My burger was thick and juicy and had to have been made in-house as I know the flavor of most of the popular meat alternatives. Jennifer had the vegan gyro. Again the meat replacement was delicious. She said it tasted reminiscent of a porkchop and had pieces of something like bacon. The veggies were crisp and fresh and good quality. Overall we are already looking forward to...

I've heard people talk about this place both good and bad. Being a former kitchen manager I'm somewhat picky where I eat. I study the cooks and their habits. So I decided to see for myself. At first walking in it was kinda sketchy. I ordered my food and I could see it being prepared. I must say the cook practiced very safe and healthy cooking habits. The cashier was very nice. I got the Philly with wings. Best Philly I've had here and the wings were the petite size which I love. They were a little crispy and juicy on the inside. The sauce was awesome. I...
