You can find fun trinkets, similar to browsing Temu. My first experience here was 5*. One year later, I can't justify any recommendation. They advertise as a cheap place for teens to hang out. Teens hang out and then leave their mess for other teens who need to work for their summer. The adult, Cheryl, manages the store that way :( It's difficult to match products to their prices & to make sure they aren't already broken. I like trinkets (& organizing) so i spent 2 hours browsing each aisle (& putting things on their proper shelves). I almost got to the register before Cheryl decided I was a security risk for using a bag they sell to hold my purchases instead of a cart. The way this whole situation went down, I decided I didn't want to financially support Five Below, much less gamble on needing to return anything. If you aren't considering a shopping experience with cleanliness, organization, product quality, customer care, accurate pricing, $5 or below pricing, or general honest exchange... then 1* is...
Read moreBrought in a broken lamp as a return. The first thing that the employee did was look for batteries to check the item. She didn't have any so she went and plucked batteries off the shelf (ones for people to buy) and she opened the pack and put them inside the lamp.
She took a product that the store could have sold off the shelf just to try to prove I was a liar...
Anyways, the lamp turned on. She pressed a light button and it switched colors. She spent the next 3 minus arguing about how it was working and I needed to take it home. Apparently its store policy to only return "damaged" items. I asked her to put the batteries back in and try again. Well guess what? It didn't turn on this time. Like I had said, it was broken. She wasted time and store money calling me a liar. She never apologized either.
In the end, most things at this store are overpriced and the employees are apparently trained to be hostile to customers with returns. I'm not...
Read moreI guess to prevent theft when you’re checking out the employee will come and literally stand 6inches away from you and stare at you without saying a word. It’s extremely uncomfortable for multiple reasons and to my family and I, not worth shopping there for that type of treatment. If they’ve been hit by theft that badly then they should either close that location or remove self checkout. The store itself is a mess because the employees are too busy intimidating customers and self checkout rather that basic up keep of the store. I crossed the bridge and paid toll to check this location out, really disappointed. Concord location is way friendlier and the store itself is big and has...
