Pho Vallejo Noodle House — Restaurant in Vallejo

Was craving Bún Bò Huế and wanted a quieter atmosphere than my usual soup 🍜 spot. Staff was pleasant when taking my order and bringing my food. Once you have all your food and drink, it’s as if you no longer exist. It’s the typical soup house attitude. Would have been nice to have my teapot refilled.

The chicken wings were decent. Not overly breaded, which I prefer.

Bún Bò Huế broth was on point, perfect amount of noodles, but a little skimpy with the rest of the ingredients and was missing the traditional cubed pork blood. The side plate of fresh vegetables contained only bean sprouts (traditional) and cilantro (not traditional). No Thai basil, mint, or banana flower of any kind. Pho is always good. & I'm happy that another pho shop has opened in Vallejo. & especially on this side of town. & this location is perfect! I am pretty sure this pho is owned by the same owner of pho number 1 in Vallejo. & so the quality of the food is consistent. The employees here are also super nice just like the other location. However, this location might have a few more "cute" points than pho number 1.

You can choose from indoor seating or outdoor -which technically indoor because it is a tent which is capable of cooling & heating. The prices are more than reasonable & like I said, super cute space & really nice employees. Did I mention your food comes out quickly as well. I think we've found our new go-to pho place! Not only is the food delicious, sizable, and reasonably priced, but the atmosphere is really nice, warm, and inviting, and with a lovely outdoor patio section! It's a different kind of pho experience with the same great food, actually, better! I ordered a small pho bowl with thinly sliced steak and always add mixed vegetables, which usually consists of your basic cauliflower, broccoli, and carrots, but here they gave a sizable portion that included perfectly cooked zucchini, broccoli, carrots, and baby book choy!
