Ventnor Square Theatre — Attraction in Ventnor City

Absolutely horrible customer service and I don’t recommend this establishment at all. Had a post on Facebook and my comments about the theater posting about bringing outside snacks and drinks was deleted all because I had an opinion about it. I won’t be giving them my business anymore. Shame I’ve spent a lot of money over the past couple of months.i understand that movie theaters don’t make money on the movies and make it on concessions snacks, drinks. But to post on Facebook that you can see your customers going to WaWa across the street from the theater it’s just not a good way to do business and in fact makes your customers feel like you don’t value their business. Here’s a fun fact not every family that spends money on movie tickets can afford all the snacks and drinks so in my opinion, terrible marketing, and the way I was treated awful so you will not be getting any of my business at either the movie theater or Nucky’s speakeasy next-door to which I’ve spent hundreds upon hundreds of dollars. I’ll go to AMC theaters and Regal cinema’s from now on. The are many people that posted their opinions on that Facebook post via Ventnor Square Theater. Terrible way to treat good...

I had such a great time visiting this theater! It’s got that classic old-fashioned charm yet feels very modern in ways. Was absolutely delighted to see them show “Licorice Pizza,” and on their biggest screen, no less! That auditorium is INSANE in terms of its size and acoustics. Probably my favorite in the area next to the IMAX theater at their Tilton location. But yeah, so happy they had an indie movie for once and I hope to see more from them in that regard since Atlantic County usually gets robbed of those types of movies. Didn’t get the chance to have any food or drink, but I saw many people who did who seemed to be having a great time while doing so. Lastly, the employees were very courteous and everything (including the men’s bathroom) was spotless! My only gripe would be that the parking is less than ideal, especially on weekends I would imagine it being tricky with some of the bigger movies playing. Other than that —...

Brand new, clean, beautiful screen resolution, automatic reclining seats, you get to choose your seats when purchasing tickets, helpful and friendly staff... and you can pour your own extra butter on your popcorn! Lol The biggest drawback is there are only 4 screens so movie selection is limited. However, most of the big releases are here...sometimes a day or two early. Also, the Speakeasy is a nice touch but can be a minus given the noise and alcohol drinking as you leave with your family and kids. If you're on a date or hanging out with friends it's good that you can take in a few drinks without having to go to a whole different establishment. I highly recommend this as a movie destination if it's playing...
