Yesterday I arrived on time for my appointment , but the stylist, was still attending to another client. I had to wait while she wrapped up, and once she brought me over, she proceeded to cut my hair, wash my hair and apply the treatment. After that, she left me there a long time in the uncomfortable chair at the wash station, as she went back to finish the previous client’s hair and helped her select hair products.

I had scheduled a Signature Curl Haircut expecting the full experience as described. The service promised the use of shingling, raking, and/or finger coiling, along with a hooded dryer or diffuser to properly define the curls. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet those expectations. While the stylist did cleanse and diffuse my hair, she only scrunched the products in and did not perform any of the curl-defining techniques listed in the description. There was no shingling, raking, or finger coiling involved, which left me disappointed with the final result.

I booked a brow wax And lamination with Selina. I was nervous to try someone new but as soon as I got there, I felt super comfortable and she had an extremely thorough consultation with me. To be honest, I’m really high maintenance and judgmental with my browse because it’s the first thing I look at in the mirror. I was absolutely blown away by how freaking amazing my brows looked!!!!! Seriously obsessed I’m telling everyone around me to go check her out because not only did she do such a great job, but I felt so comfortable and happy afterwards. I’m very disappointed with my haircut experience at this Ulta location. My appointment was double-booked, the chairs at the wash station were uncomfortable, and I was left sitting under a deep conditioning treatment, feeling hot and forgotten.
