Surfers Point in Ventura is an absolute gem! The waves are consistently great for surfers of all levels, and the views of the coastline are breathtaking. Whether you're catching waves, watching the pros, or just enjoying a walk along the beach, this spot has something for everyone. The ocean breeze, the sound of the waves, and the laid-back vibe make it a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Plus, there's plenty of parking nearby and easy access to Ventura’s charming downtown. Highly recommend for surfers and beach lovers alike!

My wife and I had just gotten into town and decided to walk down to the beach from downtown Ventura. It was an easy walk and worth it. It was early February and was cool out and eventually rained on us. Otherwise we watched what little of a sunset that we could and found the spot very pretty and worth the walk.

Nice sandy beach. No actual dunes, just a ridge of sand leading to parking.Nice tide pools, but with very little life as they are shallow and fresh water enters the ocean through the sand as this is part of the Ventura River Estuary.

If you live in Ventura this is a pretty nice beach. If you go all of the way to the end of the $4 ( CASH ONLY) parking lot there are some cool tide pools at low tide. The drive in is kinda junky. But once you get to the beach you can forget that you're so close to the town. Surfing is pretty popular here. There is a cool freshwater source meeting the ocean. Bike trails going north and south from here as well. Many ppl walk their dog off leash here. No lifeguard presence. No bathrooms next to the paid lot. But there is one if you walk towards the pier. Right before the big hotel. Nice walkway here...

This beautiful example of treating the beach, right play carefully designing public space with wildlife and habitat in mind it’s just deposition to the wrong approach is also very striking by the example of the parking lot that is being eaten away by the ocean we need more of this and we need it sooner rather than later I recommend taking some time and enjoying this beautiful little treasure...
