Great facility to have your group for training. The place is clean the staff is helpful. This is by no means a luxury place. However if your purpose is to have your team spend time together, this is a great place for this purpose. Most of the rooms are centrally located. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable beds. They provide you with plenty of towels but you won’t find amenities in your room a big screen tv, coffee machine or an-iron board like in most hotels. Remember this is a baseball training facility which makes sense why you won’t find thirst types of items but I wasn’t there for a baseball training so it caught me off guard. If you stay at their suite, then you will have a coffee machine. Just be aware of it. The conference room was nice, large, good lighting and cold ac. Dining room was convenient.
I don’t think the kitchen staff was aware of the amount of coffee most people drink in the morning so they ran out of coffee both days. The staff would not start another pot until they were totally out. This makes sense at the end of breakfast time but not almost at the beginning. There is nothing close / walking distance like rest or bars.
Again it is a training facility. All in all was a great place for what we were there to do. Facility gets a 5. Luxury 1. Location 3 Cleanliness 5. General staff friendliness 3.5. Would I use this place again?...
Read moreBack when Historic Dodgertown & Holman Stadium was a place where we as a family could go and see a baseball game for relatively little cash outlay. We would in the springtime go & see the L.A Dodgers play their doing training games after spring training was over we could and did go & watch the Vero Beach Dodgers which was the farm team a single A team. We made a lot of friends and especially for our son, if he took to one player in particular one of his best best friends out of the team of best friends chances were that player would go on to the majors. We lived around the corner from the practice fields so we would days in advance invite a couple or 3 of the guys and their girlfriends or wives as well. SIGH....those were great times a lot of memories from or at...
Read moreRich history of baseball. However they may be understaff. No one is there to greet and meet teams and indicated where the fields are. Each team is left on their own to figure that out. Zero medical staff available for players who may be injured. Simple things such as obtaining ice for water is not available even after asking. Simple items such as water not provided at the field level for the money you pay to come and play at the fields. Waited for balls to be supplied during a game while in session. I recommend team playing here for the rich history but not for the hospitality! Each team is left to fence for themselves while on...
