Cocoa Vienna — Attraction in Vienna

I contemplated writing this review but after discussing my experience with friends and getting their reactions and opinions, I decided to share. Most of the chocolates are mostly fine although the dark chocolates are very hard and almost broke my teeth. It was the bizarre way I was served that’s at issue here: The guy behind the counter came around while the store was really busy and instead of putting on the protective gloves and getting to the next customer waiting, he went over to the sink and started washing his hands for a really long time. He finally turns and gets over to me while putting on ONE glove on his right hand and leaving his left hand bare. Then with his bare hand, he grabs the first chocolate I wanted, his fingers all over the chocolate. I politely asked if he was going to put on the other glove and he got defensive, talking about how he washed his hands. But WHY even bother to put only ONE glove? It was gaslighting and messing with one’s mind for sure. I did not let him spoil my joy of getting more chocolates but I’ve got to say, some of my friends were furious to hear this story. I was given a packet of cookies and a pack of pretzels as a gift. I have gluten intolerance, and as such I looked at the ingredients listed on the packet, saw there were no ingredients, and thought it was safe because there are gluten-free cookies and gluten-free pretzels that are available to purchase.

Only to find out that the treat that I ate - that were gifted to me - were we're not gluten free at all, because that important allergy was not listed there. When I called to let them know about the situation, I was essentially told that it was my fault for not visiting the website – it is the responsibility of the retailer to list ALL of their ingredients, ESPECIALLY KNOWN ALLERGENS.

Imagine if someone with a severe pain and Allergy was gifted a snack, and when they read the ingredients peanuts were not listed as an allergen. Then imagine the retailer that it is their fault for not visiting the website, instead of the Retailer's fault for failing in their responsibility to list the ingredients on...

Who knew the greatest tasting chocolate in the world was available in Vienna! Seriously the smoothest most well balanced texture and flavor profile. Cocoa Vienna is an international treasure right here in our own hometown. We needed a very large custom order done in record time and at an affordable price... they delivered!
