Nestled in the heart of Vienna, the Vienna Inn stands as a beacon of culinary excellence and timeless charm. From the moment you step through its welcoming doors, you are transported to a bygone era where hearty meals and genuine hospitality reign supreme.

The ambiance at Vienna Inn is a delightful blend of classic diner aesthetics and warm, inviting tones. The retro decor, complete with checkered tablecloths and vintage posters, creates an atmosphere that instantly feels like home. The friendly staff, dressed in classic diner uniforms, adds a touch of authenticity to the dining experience.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the food. Vienna Inn's menu is a culinary journey that caters to diverse tastes, offering everything from classic diner staples to inventive twists on familiar favorites. Whether you're craving a hearty breakfast to start your day or a comforting dinner to unwind, Vienna Inn has you covered.

The breakfast menu is a triumph of variety, featuring everything from fluffy pancakes and golden waffles to perfectly cooked omelets. The portions are generous, ensuring that no one leaves hungry. The aroma of sizzling bacon and freshly brewed coffee permeates the air, enhancing the overall dining experience.

For lunch and dinner, Vienna Inn offers an extensive selection of sandwiches, burgers, and entrees that showcase their commitment to quality ingredients and skilled preparation. The classic Reuben sandwich is a must-try – a perfect balance of corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and Thousand Island dressing, sandwiched between slices of rye bread. The burgers are another highlight, with juicy patties and a range of toppings that cater to all tastes.

What truly sets Vienna Inn apart is the dedication to customer satisfaction. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that each guest feels not just like a customer but a cherished part of the Vienna Inn family. The service is prompt, friendly, and personalized, elevating the overall dining experience to a level rarely found in modern establishments.

In conclusion, Vienna Inn is a culinary gem that captures the essence of a classic American diner with unparalleled grace. From the moment you enter until the last bite, every aspect of the experience is a testament to the dedication of the team behind this establishment. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor passing through, Vienna Inn is a must-visit destination that embodies the best of...

Love the Vienna Inn.  I first came here on Thursday September 24, 1992 after a failed attempt to take 3 friends up to the O’s game thanks to a faulty Alternator.  We broke down on 395 North just past the lowest point elevation-wise in DC.  After walking a distance to a Pay Phone to call a tow truck, the car was towed and a friend picked us up, and the decision was made by the others to bail on our attempt to see the O's and just go meet up with friends at the Vienna Inn, a regular stop for them since 1990.  The others all lived in Vienna and I lived in Falls Church at the time.  Lots of memories made at the Vienna Inn since that fateful night of my first visit and it changed my life forever.  From there I regularly went to the Vienna Inn on Thursdays with the group, perhaps 40 to 45 weeks every year, through marriages, babies, different jobs, and moves out of town.  I moved to South Carolina in 2022 and every visit back to Virginia my priority visit besides family is meeting up with our Thursday night group at the Vienna Inn.  The last visit was Thursday February 22.  Fries, Beers are the early staples to go with conversation and laughs. Dinner for me there is typically a self titled “Crisco” Burger… which is a bacon cheeseburger with American Cheese and a fried egg on top cooked to squirt in my eye on the first bite and we add a Grilled Jalapeno on the side.  This visit I just went with a Cheeseburger which never disappoints.  Picture included.  Also love to site along the wall of photos on the wall that parallels 123.  Marty the owner and his top notch crew of VI staff are always so kind and attentive.  The place is a Vienna original and stands the test of time.  Always...

I took my daughter and my disabled mother-in-law to this restaurant today and I was totally embarrassed that I had chosen this restaurant within 5 minutes of walking in the door. The atmosphere was totally chaotic! My elderly mother-in-law (who uses a walker) was barely able to get to our table due to the poor quality of flooring & the crammed together tables and she was not able to get any access to the ladies bathroom which was up 2 very steep steps! Also both bathrooms were very "uncomfortably close" to tables where people were eating their food. Which caused me to worry about how sanitary that area of the dining room was! The restaurant interior looked like it would not pass a health inspection. The service was absolutely terrible. Our waitress only came to our table once during our whole lunch. The food was adequate but nothing special. Patrons (even the handicapped ones) are expected to get up to cross the restaurant and fix their own beverages. At the end of our meal we were left sitting at our table for quite awhile waiting for our check...only to find out after a 20 minute wait that you do NOT receive a check but have to go up to a register to pay. It would have been very nice if any of the restaurant staff would have come by our table to tell us this instead of ignoring us. So in closing..I DEFINITELY will NOT eat at the restaurant again nor will I recommend it to...

You've must have been to Vienna Inn right? If not, go there NOW. Their chili dogs are LEGENDARY and are my #1 seed for chili dogs in the DMV. But the secret item that I always add to my order may or may not be on the menu. It is a hamburger with chili and bacon on it. The chili they have tastes good on EVERYTHING. I don't even use Caps, but I can't stop. One of the MUST VISIT restaurants in the DMV. It is not a chain and it has been here for like 35 years. Don't miss it! #vienna #viennava #viennainn #chilidogs #hotdogs #hamburgers #chiliburger #baconc #chili #bestofthedmv #bestofvienna #divebars

We came, we saw, we went and we won’t likely be back. Let’s start from the top: this establishment is very clearly in need of a good scrub down. The floor tiles that were once white are now grey. Dust bunnies collecting in every corner. One can only hope the cleaning supplies are used up in the kitchen. Plate served was chipped: hello bacteria breeding ground! I saw a clipped newspaper article stating $125k worth of damages was sustained after a fire a long time ago. Sad, but whoever was in charge of the renovations following that fire should probably not be in business anymore. We waited over 45 minutes for a sandwich and fish tacos, meanwhile several other tables who had come in after us and were served and finished with their meal by the time we received ours. Server dropped the food and never returned, no silverware in sight. Times are tough right now & we’re doing our best to support local business. Hard to do when the local businesses aren’t up to par. Also to add, this couldn’t possibly be a staffing issue when the place was half empty, and there were several servers & bartenders. Our particular server was seen several times texting & eating behind the bar. If you’re looking for a dive bar with subpar eats, then this is the place for you.
