This review is especially for those who are in the more vulnerable groups vis-a-vis COVID. There are signs for keeping distance and most people do seem to be wearing masks, but that seems to be where the safety measures end. There is no control of the number of people in the market and the customers do not seem to be keeping distance from others. In my case, you can visibly see why Im in a high risk group, and people were coming way too close to me without any consideration, so I didn’t feel safe at all. In fact, I walked out about 60 seconds after I walked in and decided to go elsewhere. Granted, I came at a busier time (around 10:30 am), but even when compared to the same time at other markets, this one seems to fall short. Our pup can’t wait to get there as soon as we enter the...
Read moreThe market is good. but I had a bad experience when tasting olive oil there. After I tasted, I walked away without saying thank you. The lady said You are welcome in a cynical way and began to say some racial discrimination things to the guy next to him. I stood there and observed closely what the white people did. I didn’t hear any white people say thank you either after trying the olive oil. There are so many sample food there and so many people tried them without saying thank you. I believe the olive oil vendor clearly has...
