South block has the best aƧai bowls around. The service is also impeccable and everyoneās so nice every time I come in almost every location, but especially this one. The only thing that ruins South Block for me is their management and their menu. I wish there was options for minimal topping. Some days I just want a aƧai bowl with nothing on it. Thereās so much topping and not enough base.
Also, they donāt answer phones because itās too loud in there but they also donāt let you customize anything if you order online so you have to go in person to order and wait every time if you have anything to customize. you canāt customize at the kiosks either because itās the same operating system as online.
Also, their websites and web services just suck. They need to pay their IT department more. For a business this scale they shouldāve had a really nice website and ordering operation system but they donāt.
They did recently change their app and point of sales system (square to toast) so hopefully that goes well, but that also means everyone who had points in their previous account loses all their points on top of making a whole new account (some folks did some folks did not)
Their standard of procedures, marketing, and corporation leadership just seems hodge podgy, disorganized, and are not doing any justice for the storefront who are actually doing great. When I see how itās ran from higher up, it really discourages me to not go back lol if Iām going to pay top dollar ($13-14 for 1 bowlā¦) for top product, but get really bad service from corp- thatās not ok and Iām might as well go to pitaya Bowls.
It also made me wonder how the employees are getting treated because after talking to them about these issues, it seems like the management doesnāt care that the floor associates agree that there needs to be improvement.
Anyways, cracks all around - please fix it so I can enjoy a nice aƧai bowl from you guys and not feel resentment and spite lol

I started placing my orders on DoorDash where it gives you the option the āadd topā I always get the Nutella bowl and add Nutella and banana. Every time Iāve done so online, itās ignored. I get charged for it and never receive it. Iāve done it about 3 times, hoping they would get it right. I finally gave up. I never made a deal of it or requested a refund but today I went in to pick up my order to avoid mistakes and brought it to their attention about the numerous times Iāve been charged and never received it. I inquired about extra Nutella and they wanted to charge me $1. Itās not the point that I was asked to pay the $1. Itās the complete disregard of my complaint and bringing it to their attention. I was even asked to show my phone and Iām assuming previous receipts. Really!? At that point I said just charge me, as I was on the phone and not willing to go through it to provide proof.
