Ben gave us a brief, yet incredibly informative, tour of the exhibit. We only had 45 minutes to visit, but we could easily have spent hours delving into all the history and stories connected to the many artifacts in the 4-5 rooms and alcoves. The collection deserves a bigger space and prominence, which is apropos to the main messages of the museum. The Vietnam Veterans were not given the same level of respect and support upon their return. Many of the veterans have continued to fight to deal with physical and mental issues that originated in the war.
