Indulgence Beauty Bar — Attraction in Village/Town of Mount Kisco

Came in to get color done by Kathy, told her I just had a keratin treatment so to NOT use any shampoo or conditioner with sodium chloride (salt). She says okay... After, my hair seems really frizzy, so I ask to see the bottles of the shampoo and conditioner she used. Sodium chloride. Right there. In the ingredients list.

“oh I thought you meant sodium laureth sulfate” NO I specifically said sodium chloride, how hard is it to read a list of ingredients? Is that really beyond your skill level? Basic reading?

So that's a $300 keratin treatment LITERALLY down the drain. The level of idiocy is just staggering.

I do have to give Kathy props for being the only woman that works here that doesn't have a syringe of filler in each lip, though. Do you ladies all go to the same pumping party? Honestly I'll never trust my hair to a place run by human blow-up dolls again, it really says so much about their incompetence if they can't even take care of themselves.

Zero stars. All the good places are in the city. Only go here if your hair isn't worth...

This is my first time posting a review, but I felt I had to for the experience I had with Lorraine. The first time I went was with a groupon, but Lorraine did such a great job on listening to what I wanted and doing a fantastic job executing that I decided to come back and get another haircut. The second cut I asked for something shorter but asked if we could start slowly with bringing the cut up and she was totally okay with that. Even when she asked if I wanted it at my shoulders and I said yes, she made sure I really wanted to do it and started longer in case. Which is very considerate because I know a lot of stylists who will just chop away without giving it a second thought. Also I’m a very quiet person, so I’m not the one to talk a lot while getting my hair done so she didn’t force a conversation with me and I really appreciated that because I felt very comfortable while getting my hair done. Indulgence beauty bar is my go to beauty salon and now they have one stop shopping. I can get my nails done and my hair! (In fact I can get waxed my teeth whitened and a facial while I’m there) The owner Dianna is extremely down to earth, very talented and I love her. My daughter and my grand daughter come from Texas and always make a hair appointment while they’re here. What I love most is this, I never feel pressured to spend money on extra treatments I do not want or need. They actually care about how I feel and look and I feel really good about myself when I leave.
