I'm a musician who was asked to play a gig here a few months ago. I never heard of the place and figured it would be fine. I could not be more wrong. I have been playing professionally for over 10 years of my life and I can confidently say this is the worst place I've ever had the displeasure of playing music in.
The ambiance was bizarre. Tons of pro Israeli propaganda covered the walls that surrounded tacky wayfair furniture. The lighting was way too cold. It made everyone look strange and the already unappetizing food look worse. The owner's demeanor was colder than the lighting. At one point he picked up my brand new instrument without my permission and damaged it before the performance.
The best part of my experience was the fact that I didn't have to pay the ludicrous price for a meal there since it came as part of the deal for the band. The worst part was what they served us the food in the first place. If I had to guess about 90% of my meal was from a freezer and the other 10% was the tap water I drank.

Read moreI went a few weeks ago to listen to the performance of an excellent jazz trio led by my dear friend Hiroshi Yamazaki at the piano.
Fabulous atmosphere, which reminds me of some well-known jazz clubs in the city, but without the inconvenience of driving in traffic and paying for expensive parking.
The restaurant was cozy, nicely decorated, and the generously sized and elevated stage, together with tables spaced out just enough, allowed everybody in the audience to enjoy the view of the musicians playing. The room acoustics were flawless, and colorful lighting added to the engaging performance.
The menu is short, but the food was excellent, well-presented, and affordable.

Read moreHas a wonderful experience at Jazz on Main recently. Enjoyed a delicious martini, made to perfection. My husband and I both enjoyed our entrees. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We enjoyed the experience of a NYC smokey jazz bar only 20 minutes from our home! The musical experience was top notch. The night we were there a very talented solo guitarist featured on stage. The addition of a cooling system in the ceiling, accompanied by a high-tech light system and excellent sound, created a smokey atmosphere I’ve not experienced anywhere in Northern Westchester. There was cooling “smoke” rolling down from the ceiling! (Not a cigarette in sight.). We look forward to going back soon, and I...
