I have been shopping at Apricot Lane since 2015. The newest owner, Michelle, has always been a joy to work with even before she took over. When I walk into Apricot Lane, I typically have a vision or an event that I'm shopping for. I know I can walk in, describe my style, the occasion, and the attire and the staff will pick out perfect pieces without me having to turn on my brain. They know exactly what's in stock and what sizes are available without having to look. Michelle, Kelsey and Gabbie have all helped me pick out various outfits for several occasions the past decade: local/destination weddings, vacations, celebrations of life, and just restocking on my basics. Michelle and Kelsey know my style and vibe from me coming in for so long, and Gabbie understood me after just 15 minutes of being in the store and would put amazing pieces into my fitting room. The level of professionalism and expertise the entire staff has is so beyond the standard level of customer service. This is the best boutique in Virginia Beach! They have a very full selection that is always chic. The styles they carry are always on trend but made to last. I have bought work clothes, my bridal shower dress, bachelorette party outfits, day to day clothes, all from Apricot Lane. Beyond the clothes, the staff is really what makes the whole experience. They are incredibly kind and warm while also giving you honest style opinions and leading you to the best possible wardrobe. I have had the pleasure of working with Sophie on multiple occasions and she always helps me dress best for my body type. I also regularly see Abby when I am there and she is so attentive to making sure I have the best experience and talk through what I do and do not like about specific pieces when I can't decide.
