This was an absolutely fabulous experience for me and the pup....my only complaint is with myself that I didn't start coming here sooner! Trying to bathe a 85 pound Old English in a traditional bath is challenging at best so needless to say you don't get them as clean as you'd like. The set up here is great and the owner, there simply are not words, she is amazing. I called to see if I needed reservations and a perky person (the owner) on the other end let me know that it was first come, first serve. I was a little nervous that this wouldn't go well for me because it's a new experience for both myself and my big fluff and I expressed my concerns to Wendy when we arrived, and even though there were several pups there already she said she would walk me through the entire thing....and ohh boy she did. My dog loved her (always a good sign) and I honestly do not know what I would have done without her, my poor Enzo would have likely ended up being shaved down if it hadn't been for Wendy's help getting the matts out of his coat she even helped get him on the drying table which I would have never been able to do without her. My pup looks fabulous, smells great, had treats and I am sure that even though this was a longer bath than he's used to since we worked so hard getting the matts out he did far better than he does at home. I will definitely be back and I so totally recommend this place....clean, super friendly, efficient, attentive and helpful beyond expectation and priced...
Read moreTried scheduling a first mobile grooming appointment for my dog. I had a busy week after making the online appointment and forgot for a few days to send over my address, so the night before while Muddy Buddy was still open, I texted over my address with an apology. I did not hear back until the next day, and was told my address would be forwarded to the groomer. The groomer never got it, seemingly, and informed me that the appointment time I signed up for must have been an "online error" somehow? She seemed understanding and was trying to get ahold of me several times during the morning, offering earlier appointment times. Unfortunately, I was in meetings the whole morning, and didn't see the messages until later. I apologized, informed the groomer of the situation & that I had given my address the day before, and asked when their next availability was. Heard absolutely nothing back. Bumped the conversation two days later, still nothing. It's been like a week now, definitely not trying again with this place. I understand there was a miscommunication, despite the fact that I did in fact leave my address before the appointment, but really turned off by the fact that I not only got completely ghosted, but when I went online to try and see next available appointments, my account seemed completely locked out of booking. I tried again in a private window, and all the more recent appointments populated, so it was definitely specific...
Read moreThis would have been our 3rd time using Muddy Buddy. The first time was good, so we went back. The second time they had to reschedule and completely shaved my dog, head to tail after we discussed with the groomer to cut her exactly like she did last time. They apologized for the mess up. We decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and go for a third time, they called today 9 May about our appointment on 10 May that they needed to reschedule again. These appointments were made by them, and we adjusted our schedules to accommodate. I believe in supporting local business, but when they perform or should I say fail to perform like this I will recommend you go elsewhere.
Poor communication, poor customer service, and overall just a bad experience. Our entire scheduling experience is with the lady named Bobbi, and cannot speak to the rest of the staff. But one bad apple...
