We came in to celebrate a birthday, and things started off great! The vibe was lively, the music was fun, and even my 86-year-old grandmother came in dancing. The appetizers were excellent—especially the crab dip, which was phenomenal. We also tried the calamari, wings, and salmon bites. While tasty, the portions for the calamari and salmon bites were overpriced. My strawberry lemon drop was also a highlight—delicious!

Unfortunately, things went downhill after we ordered our entrées. There were issues with nearly everyone’s plate, and the service was frustratingly slow. Despite being a party of eight and the only group in the restaurant aside from three people at the bar, our food came out in trickles—one plate at a time with a 5-7 minute wait between each.

I ordered the fried Mahi Mahi with sautéed spinach and risotto, but after waiting over an hour, I ended up canceling it because it never arrived. My son’s Cajun pasta with oxtail was another disappointment—the oxtail was tough and served cold, like it had just come out of the fridge. Another person in our group ordered a well-done burger, which came out pink in the middle, and the fries were not fresh. For the amount of time we waited, the food should have arrived steaming hot, but that was far from the case.

The DJ added to the frustration. When we arrived, the music was great—90s hip hop and R&B. But once the DJ started, the playlist shifted to newer rap songs that didn’t suit the occasion or the audience, especially with two elders at our table. To top it off, when it came time to celebrate the birthday, he played 2 Chainz’s "Birthday Song" ("All I want for my birthday is a big booty hoe"). It was completely inappropriate for the setting and showed a lack of awareness. I even had to point out the elders at our table to him.

While the atmosphere initially seemed promising, the poor service, food issues, and mismatched music selection left us disappointed. If you’re just stopping by for drinks, a good appetizer, and some music without going to a club, this place might work for you. But for a full dining experience? No, thank you.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Eden at the beach, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience that delighted all my senses. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance set the stage for a perfect evening.

The food at was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with flavors that were both innovative and comforting. The menu offers a wide variety of options, catering to all taste preferences. I started with the salmon bites for my appetizer, which was a tantalizing blend of fresh ingredients and exquisite presentation. For the main course, the cat fish was cooked to perfection.

The drink selection is equally impressive. The cocktail menu features a mix of classic favorites and unique creations that are expertly crafted. I highly recommend the peach cobbler old fashion, which was a delightful blend of flavors and perfectly balanced. The bartenders are top notch and a great time as well.

The music elevates the dining experience to another level. They always surprise us with live bands that play an eclectic mix of genres, setting a vibrant and lively atmosphere. On nights with the DJ, the energy is palpable, with a seamless blend of tracks that keep the vibe upbeat and engaging. The music is never too loud, allowing for easy conversation while still adding to the overall enjoyment.

The service at Eden on the beach is impeccable. From the warm welcome at the door to the attentive and knowledgeable staff, every detail is taken care of with a smile. The waitstaff is well-versed in the menu and drink selections, offering excellent recommendations and ensuring that every need is met promptly.

Eden at the beach is a gem that offers an exceptional dining experience. Whether you’re there for a casual meal or a special occasion, you can expect top-notch food, drinks, music, and service. I can’t wait to return and explore more of what this fantastic restaurant...

Nestled along the vibrant shores of Virginia Beach, Eden at the Beach has quickly established itself as a must-visit spot for anyone craving soul food with a twist. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between cozy and lively, making it an ideal setting for both intimate dinners and casual gatherings.

During my recent visit, I was greeted by an inviting bar dining area that instantly drew me in. Sam, my bartender, was a standout—her attentiveness ensured that my experience was nothing short of delightful. She made sure I was well taken care of while I soaked in the rhythmic tunes that filled the space, creating an atmosphere where relaxation came effortlessly.

Now, let’s talk about the food. I had heard whispers about their signature lamb chops, and let me tell you, they lived up to every bit of the hype. Cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor, I would rate them a solid 10/10. Each bite was a celebration of soul food at its finest, leaving me eager for more.

With prices hovering around $41, Eden at the Beach offers great value for the quality of food and service provided. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this gem is worth a visit. The combination of delicious cuisine, attentive service, and a lively musical backdrop makes for a memorable evening. I can’t wait to return and explore more of what this burgeoning hotspot...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Eden at the Beach, and I can confidently say it’s a hidden gem that everyone needs to experience! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the stunning ambience. The decor perfectly captures a blend of elegance and beachside charm, creating a relaxing environment that instantly puts you in vacation mode. The outdoor seating is particularly delightful, allowing you to enjoy the soothing sounds of the ocean while savoring your meal. The atmosphere is vibrant yet intimate, making it ideal for both a romantic dinner and a fun night out with friends. Now, let’s talk about the food! Every dish we tried was a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The menu showcases a variety of fresh, locally sourced ingredients that elevate each meal. I highly recommend trying their signature seafood dishes—each bite was pure bliss. Eden at the Beach is a new establishment, but it’s already setting a high standard. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, make sure to stop by and treat yourself to an unforgettable dining experience. Trust me, you won’t regret it!

Upon walking into establishment although under construction it looks like a vibe! Love that portion of my experience. Now let’s move on to service waiter was ok in beginning their was only 2 couples in the entire restaurant at that moment I was their. why did it take over 45 or longer to get our food?? I ordered catfish mac and cheese my friend got Salmon with his Cajun pasta. Pasta no veggies just bland with a big piece of overcooked salmon slapped on top. My Catfish was cooked in old grease or it was old …the presentation was horrible garnish looked dried out Mac and cheese was bland. This was my first and last time visiting this establishment. My friend spoke so highly of them that’s why we attended. You cannot charge those type of prices with food and service like this.not to mention we also had to ask for silverware for our food.

This is a premature review because they had just opened when we went... the atmosphere and ambiance you could tell they are still getting things moving. From the front door greeter to the bar tender the customer service was great which i can appreciate alot. We ordered drinks and an appetizer; steak bites $14. I would have gotten a picture of but it didn't last long... we were very disappointed. When the dish came out it was 6 very small unseasoned pieces of steak. For the price it was not at all worth it. We chose not to order anything else because the appetizer and meals were all about the same price ranges.. so for lack of knowing we opted not to order any more food. Overall we'll go back after they've been open for atleast 3-4 months and give another try. Hopefully they'll have menus and more comfortable seating.
