All authentic artefacts collected by the museum. In front of the museum is the oldest Gingko tree in the town. The gift shop has a variety of books and gifts also for kids available.

Very interesting little local museum. We would have stayed longer, but it was a little warm upstairs (it was almost 90 outside) and we had more to do in town. That said, we were there for about 1.5 hours and there was another 1-1.5 hours worth of content we could have enjoyed. Next time!

Thank you to the lovely folks who made us feel so welcome! We made an unexpected stop here to take pictures of where my grandmother earned her teaching certificate in 1936. The museum was closed and they graciously reopened and showed us the records for my grandmother's class! We'll stop again when it's open and take a...

A bit hot on the upper level on a 90 degree day because its not air conditioned. But, they did warn us and there were fans on the upper level. Excellent area history museum that seems well-curated. We spent a couple hours here and greatly enjoyed learning more about the Viroqua and Vernon...
