The covered bridge is a great swimming spot by the river that I’ve grown up coming to for over 15 years now. Great for kids and dogs alike. There are a few jumps into the river from the cement. One about 3 feet high, one about 10 feet high. Then you can also jump out of the widows of the catwalk on the other side of the bridge. Amazing spot 10/10.

This was one our favorite covered bridge stops because it has the pedestrian walkway on the side. It's right on the east side of the village so we were able to park on the street and spend time walking past the shops and along the river.

There is plenty of parking right by the Darrad Computer Services ( behind the bridge) with restaurant overlooking the river. Nice place to see during fall foliage.

We enjoyed seeing & driving across many of these old bridges in VT. We were in VT for 6 wks. We never tired of seeing the countryside, the beautiful old homes & farms with their HUGE BARNS. Many had been taken care of & then some HUGE ones were be repair &...
