I deleted my review from when I initially moved here (initially 5 stars), as I have been a resident since December 2023. That said, the staff are great; however, there are a lot of issues with the property. For one, the internet is horrendous and they have WhiteSky. Even after they "upgraded" the internet, I still have issues taking phone calls for work, connecting to our servers, streaming movies, etc. Although my employer is somewhat understanding of these issues, it is beginning to become a larger problem over the past year that comes up almost every 1:1. Therefore, if you work remotely, you should probably look elsewhere as this issue is not just in your apartment... it is an issue in the common areas too - the speeds are horrendous. Also, WhiteSky seems to be blocking Apple and Google products, and will tell you to purchase your own equipment as they are unable to fix the issue and you cannot bypass their security.
The other issue is the egg water that never seems to go away (guess who is back even after they attempted to fix the issue). They continue to work on these issues, but there is no improvement, and I'd imagine that this won't be resolved after leaving this property. Yes, I am leaving. There is nothing like walking into a shower and tasting/smelling sulfur, or feeding your animals sulfar water and therefore needing to use filtered (store bought) water. It is just an added expense. It seems like they may need to add water filters to each unit; however, I hear this issue coming up more and more frequently from other tenants almost every occupied unit in my building, building 2, and other buildings. As such, I would recommend if you do look at a unit, test the water and do not let them choose which unit you view as I would image that they may try to mask the issue since if is a larger issue. That said, bleaching the water or putting in an ionizer is not working, nor is it a permanent solution. It still comes back.
Now my neighbor and I also have a new issue where when our heat turns on, it smells like mold/mildew (musty, I guess you could call it). They have tried changing out the filters, but that did not work. So be prepared to have your apartment smell like a must when the heat kicks on. Overall, I think this place was just built as cheaply as possible and will be sold to the next buyer to deal...
Read moreThe office staff are fantastic. I can't say enough good things about them. The property, however, has some issues.
The internet is not friendly for taking voip calls. If you work from home and are taking calls, you'll have issues. Whitesky is terrible overall. I will never live somewhere that has it. There's a reoccurring sulfur smell in my water. Current remedy is to flush the pipes with bleach every 3 months. I know 3 other residents who have this issue. I'm unsure why corporate doesn't do something since this is widespread.
The internet provider is WhiteSky, and you're contractually obligated to use them. They are absolutely horrible and have constant outages.
The apartment staff aren't to blame, it's the ISP. But that doesn't change the fact people who work from home (me) are constantly struggling to find a reliable internet connection. We were given a concession but the problem still persists. Corporate made the contract, and despite all the complaints, maintains it. The executives don't care once you're signed.
Besides this, this property is amazing.
The property is well maintained and has a bunch of amenities. Some of these amenities are really excellent, such as:
The coffee machine (I don't buy coffee anymore) Cigar room, where you can drink wine and be fancy State of the art gym A study lounge that reminds me of those study rooms in college
EDIT: The internet situation is horrible. It keeps going out. This edit is hard because I call the staff my friends and i know this will hurt their leasing... corporate, please fix this. Your staff get shit on every day for this internet issue and you do nothing.
I thought Greystar had integrity...
What sold me was the location. It's right near wegmans, Torchys, Cava, and a bunch of other shops coming soon. The office staff is also extremely friendly and genuinely cares about this property. I've never genuinely made friends with the property staff before this place. The events are also...
Read moreWe have been living here for a week now and have loved it! The apartment is beautiful, everything works as should. Upon move in we were so kindly gifted with some goodies and snacks and coupons to the local food! We LOVED this welcome touch!
We love the leasing staff, everyone was amazing and kind, understanding and friendly! They were SO responsive. They always picked up the phone and it is never a hassle to get in touch with them. They were so kind and helpful during the entire application process.
The community is absolutely amazing. We loved everything they have to offer here and it is a lot! The gym is superb for an apartment gym.. wow! The community is well taken care of which is so important. They power wash, and care about the standards of the community.
Some of my favorite features are: the vending machine fridge you can access at any time, the gym, the hammocks, the electric fire places, the wine room, the walking distance to good food, nail salon etc. great location!
Neighbors: all our neighbors are such wonderful people. It is a quiet neighborhood! Everyone seems very respectful.
After reading some reviews I had some concerns - Wifi: As we work many times from home we were concerned if there would be connection issues BUT our wifi is actually fantastic! Very high speeds. Wifi did struggle to reach one room in particular which we made into the office but WhiteSky was verryyy helpful and the quickest and best solution was doing a direct connect through the ethernet port with an extension. This solved all our wifi issues and now we have the best connection. So far, no connection loss either!
Egg smell: we have no had any bad smells not in the apartment, nor the complex, nor the water!
We are thrilled to be living here, we find it so homey and lovely! We never hear our neighbors, and everyone we have met in the community seems to love it too!
We definitely recommend...
