Interesting that Rob Reasoner's Chick Fil A has chosen to respond to all one star reviews except mine. "Facts are stubborn things." – John Adams EDIT: Changing my review after having several of my daughters work there. This location is a machine that abuses employees with little regard for their mental health or physical wellbeing. One of my children was a keyholder in mgmt, helped facilitate opening the 2nd Wake Forest / Heritage location at a corporate (think: Atlanta, GA) level, and was unceremoniously fired by Rob Reasoner with neither warning nor writeup(s), shortly after returning (I believe it was too early) from her maternity leave after our grandson was born. Afterwards he cyberstalked her LinkedIn account.
The other daughter would frequently come home in tears from being constantly harassed and berated by kitchen mgmt. Both of these girls are hard workers with an outstanding job ethic and have excelled at their current positions with the mindset of "Well, it can't be worse than Chick-Fil-A." I will never again eat at a Rob Reasoner owned location. Rob Reasoner runs a tight ship. This is one of the highest volume fast food establishments I have ever seen. This place is like Basic Combat Training for prospective ChickFilA owner/operators.
And Christians love them some ChickFilA. I think you'll find at least 1/2 of the students at the Baptist seminary eating here for lunch, and the other half working behind the counter. But that's not a bad thing. It means the food is always fresh and delicious. The staff have good attitudes. It's always a great place to eat.
To quote Christian comedian Tim Hawkins (sung to Yesterday by The Beatles):
Chick-fil-A. I could eat that seven times a day. Where the people laugh and children play... Oh, I'm in love with Chick-fil-A. Suddenly, I need waffle fries in front of me. With some nuggets & a large sweet tea Oh, Chick-fil-A... You...

My only complaint is the restaurant was very cold today. It was so cool that we had to get it good to-go and ate in the car. I realize the staff is busy working hard, moving fast to fill all the orders and get people in and out. However, I suggest someone who works there sit in the dining area and see how cold it is. I think I'll need to bring a jacket or sweatshirt next time.
Overall though, a good experience...

Read moreThree stars is for the new drive-thru express only
The new drive-thru express is express is name only. The first time I used it my order was wrong. This is no big deal as mistakes happen.
The second time I used the new express service my order was wrong.
The third time I used the drive-thru express, when I got to the window they asked for my first name, disappeared for a second, then asked for my last name, disappeared for a second, then asked what I ordered. Keep in mind, the mobile app has your name, the color and style of your vehicle, an automated ordering process, and you must scan a QR code when you arrive to the restaurant. My point is, end to end, the process is automated. It is the same process that was in place (minus the QR code) before the drive-thru express existed.
After giving my information on this third-try is-hopefully-the-charm order, then going to wait in the VIP parking area for approximately 10 minutes, my order was delivered . . . and was wrong (and this order was free because of the previous issue).
The final time (it is Chick-fil-A after all, so I gave them multiple chances because their drive thru is usually the standard by which all drive thrus are measured) I elected to use drive-thru express (with another free meal), you guessed it, my order was wrong.
The bottom line is this: just wait in the regular drive thru line. The drive-thru express is not express, and despite zipping through your own lane you will likely end up waiting longer as, odds are, your order will be wrong. (I never had these problems in the regular drive thru.)
Overall I love Chick-fil-A. But the drive-thru express needs to be either fixed or eliminated, or the option to order from the app and then go through the regular drive-thru needs to...
