Over the past two years I have devoted a lot of my spare time in researching mattresses. Mostly brought about by me hitting 30 and my upper back, neck, shoulders, hips, and lower back instantly giving up the previous skill of being able to sleep almost anywhere on anything. Anyway. The 6 year old pillow top extra plus mattress my wife and I purchased after getting married just wasn’t cutting it for either of us anymore. I looked at the new online mattress in a box companies and tried a couple of different ones out trying to save money. When they just didn’t meet our expectations, we decided to go and check out an in person store. Our sales rep at Mattress Firm was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and not pushy at all. He spoke of pros and cons of all the mattresses and walked us around the variety that was in the store. Being able to try the mattress was a lot easier than reading a lot of reviews on one. After browsing and asking questions for about 45 minutes where the sales rep was incredibly patient during, we settled on what is probably going to be the best mattress I’ve ever slept on.

If you’re thinking of buying a new mattress and are over the age of 27, do yourself a favor and go in person to a store and see what works best for you. I’ve come to realize that buying a mattress is like buying a vehicle or a bra. You need to test drive it and find what fits best for you. • Edit post from 5 to 2 stars * Salesperson Silas botched entry for delivery and setup and when crew came they wouldn't set up. Delivery guys threw Mattress Firm under the bus and even said they'd set it up if we paid them under the table but we said no it was already included and no one at Mattress Firm could agree to let them set it up and they left with our mattress and frame on the truck. Regional manager stepped in and took discount off for our trouble and inconvenience and then it still took three additional days to reschedule with difficulty reaching someone could make a decision to correct error. * Limited communication and no control over delivery windows. No follow-up with our sales person. Mattress Firm needs to work with a third party vendor that provides better service to deliver products to customers as this reflects badly on them. Would NOT recommend using them no matter how much better their price is. Ask for RICKY! He knows his stuff! He works with you ! Patient man me, and my fiance asked him a million questions. We just bought a purple bed! Highly recommend esp if you have back pain like my self. RICKY also has a purple bed. You pay for quality! RICKY is not a pushy sales men. He wants you to have the best sleep and best bed to work for you. My fiance and I were going in there thinking the purple bed or tempur-pedic. We asked Ricky the difference between them two he showed us demonstration of how the purple bed works compared to the TP. If you are shopping for a bed make sure you ask for RICKY!
