Visited on a Wednesday night with my husband and two children. Had tried this location once prior and was less than enthused but my husband has had better experiences than me there, so i reluctantly decided to try again. We got there around 7ish, walked in and no one was to be found, at the host area. Took a little while for the host on duty to realize we were waiting to be seated. She lead us into the front room, where only one other family, and two teenage girls were eating. For the restaurant business it was honestly a deader night and we like to avoid the hustle bustle restaurants as it is. The waitress took our order, not even sure what her name was... she didnt introduce herself. Asked several times for napkins, and even after getting our food, had to wait until she swung back around again to even ask for silverware we were not provided with. This took some time considering by that time we were now the only people seated in that section. After being provided the silverware, I cut my burger in half only to reveal, it was raw on the inside.... GROSS. Again, had to wait until I could flag someone down once more, as I had already gotten up twice to ask for things and was starting to feel like us eating there was an inconvenience. The girl who wasnt even our waiter came over to see what we needed, and i tried explaining that my burger was raw. She replied she couldnt hear me (over the incredibly loud music), so I spoke louder, almost yelling. She asked me how I had asked for it to be cooked. Restaurants are required to cook meat to a certain temperature, to serve. Medium well/medium is usually what you end up with. Not once did they ask me how I wanted my burger cooked, it was my assumption that it would come medium well or medium, possibly my fault, but I dont typically dine at this establishment. At this point my husband is frustrated too with the poor performance as well, and we ask to speak to the manager. She came over, and explained how busy they were and how it happens sometimes. Understandable, but please own the mistake. You are not busy, and my complaint does not require a comp meal, only asking for improvement of service. The replacement meal had not come out by the time my husband ate his entire wing/rib/mac plate, and my children were done eating as well, so i asked for it to be boxed up to go. Shame, because the family dinner really turned into a not so great experience for us. No urgency, general lack of care and compassion. Even my husband wont go back now..... lost a die hard...
Read moreI don't even want to say the wait staff was the worst because they were alright, it was the hostess. There were 4 of us and she seated us at one of the high top tables. Not a problem until we realized we wanted to order 2 large pizzas and didn't want to hold them in our laps because the table was so small. So we asked our waiter if we could move to one of the booths just because we needed more table top space. He said that was completely fine and then walked away so we took it upon ourselves to sit at one of the booths. Mind you there was only 1 other group at the tables at this time. Then a few minutes later I see the hostess come in the room and go up to another lady and starts pointing at our table giving us dirty looks while obviously talking about us. Extremely rude. If you're going to talk about your customers at least go somewhere where they can't see you but better yet if you wanted to know why we moved then just come ask. But then the lady the hostess went up to went to our first waiter and again started making gestures toward our table and dirty looks our way. And then did it again with our current waiter! Word to the wise, don't be so obvious when talking about your guests! I understand if it was a super busy time of night, but we were 1 of 2 parties at the time. Again, if you wanted to know why we moved just ask us! It had nothing to do with our waiter, he was nice. We literally just needed more table space but apparently that was a huge issue. This was an uncomfortable situation and it's a shame because the food was...
Read moreI haven't been here in a while. Not because its bad, but just based on circumstance and where I lived.
I remember when this placed opened, how great it was. It was soooo different being able to get chicken tenders tossed like wings. I also distinctly remember their crinkle fries...
Well, years later, I found myself in Wake Forest and decided to give this place a visit. Needless to say, things are still legit.
They advertise tenders that were never frozen. I cant speak of the validity of this, but I can tell you their tenders are very.... tender. Distinctly so. Id bet they aren't frozen.
Now for the main event: the crinkle fries. I haven't been to many places that do crinkle fries right. Buffalo Brothers did it right, and they still do.
Of course I had to get the loaded crinkle fries - bacon and cheese. I was not disappointment.
The fries were hot, crispy, and golden brown. The bacon wasn't too fatty and the cheese had the right amount of pull. It was near 10/10.
As far as negative things, I cant really think of any.
The staff were a jot and the place was clean. I went in a bit later on a Sunday, and the food was still really good. I half expect food served near closing to be rushed and low quality. I did not have this issue here.
The soda did taste a bit watered down, but honestly I don't need to be drinking those chemical cocktails...
Overall,...
