As a long time Simmons Beautyrest buyer we stopped in yesterday to buy a new one for our new home. We spoke to Jim who is very patient with a great personality and is very knowledgeable of the mattress world. Many years ago I made the mistake of laying on a Tempur-Pedic mattress and could barely get out of the thing. Too hot, sunk in to where it about had me in a cocoon and was extremely uncomfortable. I said then NEVER AGAIN. Well last night I found out to Never Say Never Again (James Bond Reference.) So after trying a couple Simmons Jim finally talked me into just sitting on one of the Tempur-Pedics he had in the showroom. I was blown away with the comfort and quality and the features of this mattress. My wife who has always had to settle on expensive mattresses that never gave her a restful nights sleep, and never has told me in 40 years that a mattress was good before a purchase, was suddenly pain free laying on this mattress. We ended up with a split king with adjustable bases with separate remotes and even under bed lighting. Jim never tried to upsell us and he kept us in stitches the entire time as he has some funny stories to tell. We stayed quite awhile and he was great. Couldnāt ask for a more informed salesman or nicer gentleman! So in the end we will be getting a new Postur-Pedic set delivered to our new home on this coming Tuesday. We canāt wait to get it. And we will be seeing Jim again soon to buy new mattresses for our guest rooms. Thanks Jim and I will remember the Smirnoff next time I go to...

UPDATE: My review rating quickly went from 5 to one star when my mattress never arrived. The original date it was supposed to be delivered we received a call that it would arrive within the next 30 minutes and everything was great. A few minutes goes by and they call back saying they are having trouble finding the location..soon to find out they are in the wrong STATE. Jim set the address to NJ not NC. After calling the store and speaking with a woman, she insured the soonest we could get the mattress would be another week since they actually don't have the mattress in stock in their NC warehouse. Not sure why I wasn't told the mattress I chose wasn't in stock but no problem, I could wait a week and I knew mistakes do happen. Well today is the day it was supposed to be delivered and its no where to be found. I received no call about it coming or a time frame so I can insure someone is home. I call the store and a woman informs me its not coming today. I am then told that the mattress arrived to them damaged and I will have to wait ANOTHER week. Unfortunately, I will be taking my money some where else where I don't have to wait nearly 2 weeks for an expensive...

Out of all the places we went to this was by far the worst. I'm not sure if we were ignored and treated poorly because we're black or because we are in are twenties or what but it was very clear they were intent on not helping us at all. When we walked in they hesitantly gave us a very dry unenthusiastic greeting "Hi, welcome to mattress warehouse." We spent about 20 mins looking around and that was the first and last time they spoke to us. Both employees just sat in the back of the showroom carrying conversation that was obviously not appropriate for customers to hear due to the cursing and they didnt even try to do it quietly because we were all the way on the other side of the store and could hear them. They were not at all concerned with making a sale and it was very clear. We seriously considered one mattress but ultimately decided to leave because of how rudely we were treated.
