Last week I visited this farm and my two-year old absolutely loved the Alpacas. So today I took my son again. Last week the owner gave me only a few match size carrots to feed the Alpacas, so today I took some organic carrots of my own, which I disclosed to the owner. Some time later there was a big group of people and I took one of my match size carrots to feed the Alpaca when the owner turn to me enraged, screaming at me not to feed the Alpacas. He went on to scold me, saying he had told me two or three times to put my carrots away and take them to the car. He went on and on in front of a group of people including family I had invited. In reality we spoke once and the only thing he had said was that they keep track of how much the alpacas eat because they tend to be diabetic. He also said that next time he would give me extra carrots. He never, ever said to put my carrots away. That abuse was uncalled for, I would have respected his request had he been clear in his communication. I will never visit this farm again. NO, I do NOT...
Read moreThis is a nice farm to visit!!!! Alpacas are very well taken care of on this farm!!! And the alpaca products sold in the store on this farm are at very decent prices. The farm owner supplied us with carrots to feed alpacas with. There was no entrance fee and carrots were free!!! So of course we felt we gonna contribute something to the farm as they were so generous to welcome us. The store has high quality products, some made by the farm and some imported from Peru, but they were all made of alpaca wool! We had a great time here...
Read moreWhat a great way to spend the day, or at least a couple of hours. If you love animals or alpacas this is the place to go. You can feed them, pet them, or just admire from afar. After time with the animals, they a have a small and quaint shop full of trinkets, toys, and clothing made from alpaca fur! So soft!! They have so much more than that like honey which the harvest on site. Very family or date...
