I've been going to worthfit for almost 2 years now and when I say a place changed my life I mean it. This is more than a gym it's a family and community. I was so nervous when I first walked in I didn't want anyone to see me or talk to me but, Marissa was behind the front desk and would always say Hi and talk to me when I can in a left and this went on foe a few months till I decided to start actually talking back to her. Then I met her sister Madelyn who also works at the front desk and she really helped me start my fitness journey by answering all of my questions I had about eating, what i should be eating and how. Then just over a year ago I decided to make a change and start my weight loss journey I started at 375 pounds and now I'm down to 204 pounds I lost 171 pounds at this place I always told myself that I would lose the weight someday and tried diet and diet and they did nothing. The thing that made me lose the weight this time was the sense of accountability that I got from the gym and the people in it. Soon after I started losing weight I met Laura. She was kinda of my accountability person because she was there everyday no matter what I'm honestly wondering if she ever gets sick because she's never missed a day she would also answer my questions that I had and tell me I was losing weight even though I couldn't see it. Everytime I came in she said you look smaller and I brushed it off and her just being nice but I actually was getting slimmer after about a year at the gym I started to make friends with other people who attended the gym and now I talk to them everyday. This is not a gym it's a family and place I love. I live in Spokane now and drive down every weekend just because of the gym I need it. This place is addicting in a way you feel like it's a home. The crazier thing to me is not only did I lose the weight but this place completely made me turn my life around. I'm now trying to become a police officer and help others. I also have helped others lose weight. This place is my home at this point and if you are every thinking about coming in and trying it I would say your first day will have you hooked but if I where you I would do a week first instead of a day because after a week you will have met some new people and feel like the place is home. I know this is a long review but this is my short version all I'm saying is, is if I could I would...
Read moreJorge was my trainer for about 8 months, 3 days a week before I moved out of state. With in those eight months he was dedicated, focused, and caring. He pushed me to be my best and lift the greatest but never farther than I was comfortable with. I have seen so much improvement working with him with more toned muscle and losing fat. I have much more energy and happiness throughout the day as well.
When I started training with Jorge it was really my first time lifting other than a year of P.E. in high school. He was always patient and helpful when learning new lifts or movements. He would demonstrate and talk me through it so when I would try I had a good understanding. If my form was ever off he was quick to correct it kindly to avoid injuries. These actions made me feel comfortable when going up in weight and progress in my fitness journey. Along with being amazing in the gym he cared about what I was doing outside the gym. Getting quality meals and snacks, having correct amount of Macros and Micros, and overall how I was doing. As someone who grew up never cooking I had no idea how to get nutrition from my food, I just ate to stay alive. But Jorge helped me dig deeper and see what was truly in food and make it easy to eat good. He was there to ask how my day was and if I ever needed to talk he was a...
