I changed my prescriptions from CVS about 8 months ago. Initially I was impressed by the service here. Whenever I've dealt with the women who work here I'm very happy. However the last 2 times I've dealt with the weirdest, rudest males that I've ever encountered. The first one made no attempt to exchange even the most basic pleasantries. The second one,Michael Anastasio was perhaps the rudest person I've ever met in my life. I was called and told my prescription would be ready on New years eve. When I went to pick it up Michael told me that "the order has not been unpacked" I explained that I was specifically called and told it would be ready..no apology from this guy. Just robotically repeated the exact same words to me as if I were mentally retarded and didn't understand what he had just said. I was extremely offended by his rude tone. Never gave me a time frame to come back. Just dismissed me with his rude,unpleasant attitude. .This guy has no place in customer service. So I drove home which took me about 8 minutes..when I got home there was a message from Jennifer (I think that was her name) telling me that my prescription was ready for pick up!!! 8 minutes!! What an incompetent staff!! I have MS and making 2 trips to this pharmacy in one day is exhausting. I'm ready to go...
Read moreAbout ten years ago, I was getting the run around from the major mail-order pharmacy my insurance pushes. I asked the Stop & Shop Pharmacy if they could contact my doctor and switch me over. Ever since then, I have been thoroughly impressed with the level of customer care I have received.
I have found their service to be not only perfectly efficient but also extremely pleasant and enjoyable to work with. Recently, my doctor was trying to find a new medication for me. Upon arrival at the pharmacy, I was told the cost of the medication (new to market) was very high. But the staff had already started working on finding cost savings for me. They asked me to give them a few minutes and to come back. When I returned, they had found a coupon for me cutting the cost of the medication by almost $500. I really cannot say enough great things about the staff at this location.
In addition, their phone system and a monthly automatic refill is beyond easy to work with. As my medications do not change often, all I have to do now is check my text reminders and pick up my monthly orders. They handle...
Read moreThis pharmacy will dawdle on calling your doctor to confirm prescriptions, lie about the number of pills dispensed (different number of pills in bottle than on label), dispense fewer pills than prescribed (different number dispensed than prescribed), reassure the patient that refills are available when asked about these practices, and then when it comes time to refill, tell patients that it is too early to refill because the actual prescription was meant to last longer but of course that's not what they actually dispensed. So you'll end up running out of medicine with no options to get more. Liars and thieves all around, taking money from your insurance but not giving what was paid for.
